We loved this beautiful decorated, small house with a fenced backyard. The furnishings are eclectic and fun. The Host is very easy to work with. A great extra is the cafe across the street.

This home is AMAZING!! The location is great with a wonderful yard perfect for relaxing or letting your dog roam.Can't say enough about how wonderful the home is - from the tastefully remodeled interior and gorgeous hand made wood furniture to the cozy towels and super comfy bed. Our dog also enjoyed the cushy bed and plush toys the owners had on hand - they are truly pet lovers.Definitely one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in and hope to stay again on our next extended stay in the Portland area.

This is a beautiful home with many custom features, including beautiful woodwork and cabinetry throughout. It was comfortable and in a great location, and in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a hiccup in getting into the house, but Kate replied to my message quickly and the issue was resolved. I would definitely stay in this house again!

Super duper clean and comfortable. We felt right at home and so did our dog. In a new place, he usually wants to sleep between us. Here, on the first night he started with us but then decamped downstairs, obviously feeling settled and at home! Very well set up, lovely bathrooms, great kitchen. All the accessories and extras are first class (from the knives to the flatware and spices), closets, and the yard was great. A fantastic home away from home that actually feels like home. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed
 until you have to leave!

We were very pleased with our stay at the charming remodel. Kate was very easy to work with and if we had concerns she responded immediately. We loved the location and it worked very well for our needs. The house seemed homey and had a loved feeling about it. The custom woodwork in the house added to its beauty and its uniqueness. Having a cafe, which has very good food, and a market across the street was a plus.The only thing we didn’t know when we rented the home, was that from the back porch, you walk right into the downstairs bedroom, that leads into the center of the house. It was fine, but when looking at the pictures, it wasn’t clear.

Beautiful Home

We were visiting family in Portland and had great time. It was a pleasure staying at the house- the living room was comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and the outdoor sitting space was lovely. The location was ideal as it was 7 minutes away from our family. Good communication with the co host.We would absolutely stay here again

A Little Piece of Heaven

Maps found the location easy and it was exactly as it looked on line, only pictures of the inside did not do it justice. The cabinetry and furnishings are beautiful, and make it feel so comfortable and homey that relaxing is instant. Kathleen has thought of everything and then some. We tend to like cooking our own meals and there seems to be double of each utensil which is a dream as some of us are gf and others are not. She had pots n pans, vegetable steamer and pasta pot, seasonings, plenty of hot pads and an Apron!!!! We utilized one of the small coolers to keep water cool on our day trips, the washer & dryer were so handy as we had 7 days along the coast where washer n dryers seem to be elusive before arriving at our next stop in Lafayette, CA. The only regret, not staying longer. Thank you Kathleen.

Delightful and charming home in a wonderful location. Clean and comfortable. Great outdoor space too, and perfect for dogs. Great location with quick and easy access to the best areas of Portland and downtown Milwaukie. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pet friendly paradise

Perfect, pet friendly place in great Milwaukee neighborhood. Convenient to everything in area. Really nice high end accommodations, fully equipped for a family or your furry friends. Fenced in yard is very secure and private. Plenty of sitting areas outside. Beds were comfortable. Living areas very nice. Kitchen fully equipped. Extra credit for the high tech bidet in the spacious bathroom! Hopefully, not the last time we’ll stay here. Highly recommended!

Perfect Property/Location

This house is such a cute property, located in a quiet neighborhood. This location is prime for trips into and outside of Portland. The house has all the modern updates and is equipped with everything you could need for your stay. There is a convenience store located across the street for any last minute items you may need, or if you just need a snack or drink. I highly recommend eating at Milwaukie Cafe across the street at least once. The food and coffee are great. I think we grabbed breakfast there three days in a row!! Kate the host is easy to get a hold of and answered all questions quickly, and offered great sight seeing and food recommendations. She was in Spain during our stay and her neighbor Brenda was available for anything we needed. If I’m ever in Portland again, I would absolutely book this property again.

Just right!

We have absolutely no complaints. Quiant, comfortable accommodations. It has a little bit of everything you might need. Outdoor area provided a relaxing environment. We found the location worked well for us. Definitely considering coming back here next year!

Great backyard

There was a glitch when we arrived in that the housekeeper got the dates mixed up and it had not been cleaned yet so we had to stay in a hotel. But the host promptly refunded our money for the first night and it was clean upon our return the next morning. This house has all the amenities you could ever want and is well stocked as far as food and bathroom supplies.

A month in Milwaukie

We stayed at Kate’s home for a month while transitioning from a move overseas. It was the perfect place to call home while we looked for our own. It’s so comfortable, from the solid build, beautiful back deck and cozy beds and furnishings. It’s well stocked and the location is great for reaching different areas of Portland. Kate is very responsive and overall made our first month back in the US as easy as could be. Highly recommend!

Lovely and Interesting Home

We loved this house! It was clean and warm, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. Communication with our host was easy. An extra bonus was the interesting things in the home itself. It was nice to have a fenced area for the pooch. We definitely plan to stay here next time we're in the Portland area for a few days.

Temp before relocating

We booked Kate’s house because our movers would be arriving after us for a relocation from Denver to Portland. Almost daily, there was a snag in our plans. Kate was very accommodating of our changes - we ended up staying at 3123 an extra two days.The house was wonderful. It was stocked with everything we could need. We were traveling with two dogs and two cats. The main floor bathroom was perfect for keeping our cats sequestered. The spacious yard fenced was likewise perfect for our dogs. The hidden-gem Milwaukie Cafe and Bottle Shop is across the street and well worth visiting. I recommend Kate’s house for anyone!

Portland Stay & Play

The property worked perfect for us. The house was used as home base for our day trips. Having the full kitchen (and bbq) made for easy breakfasts and dinners. The backyard and deck area was perfect for relaxing in the evening. Highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the Portland area.
