Great location with bus and max stations within a 5min walking radius. My room was very quiet, and had all the basic amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker etc. I especially liked the fact that they had water filling stations in the building, I wish more hotels would provide that. Rating 4 stars only because I noticed a couple of stray hairs in the shower and I expect better from a mariott.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center. After an extremely difficult situation at another hotel, I had to check in here just before midnight. The transition was seamless and the staff went above and beyond—assisting with my bags and making me feel immediately welcomed during a very stressful time. Tragically, during my stay, my emotional support animal, Gus, passed away suddenly. The compassion shown by the staff was extraordinary. They quickly helped me locate an emergency animal hospital, and their kindness did not stop there—upon my return, I found a thoughtful card waiting for me at my door. This level of care and empathy is rare. The Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center will be my only choice whenever I return to Portland.

Location was so awesome and the front desk and valet guys were the nicest and most welcoming. Wish I caught their names- Made a difference in setting the start of our stay in Portland on July 3rd. Only minor issues was that they clean the room every other day n the toilet pressure was low.

This was my family’s first trip to Portland and we chose this hotel at random for the 4th of July weekend. It turned out to be a good choice. It’s a safe place and it’s within walking distance of the marketplace and lots of dining options! It is in a really good spot! There is a food truck park less than a block from the front entrance with lots of options. The room was very spacious and I can say everything worked, the refrigerator, microwave, all of it! The staff was really nice especially the valet! He was very helpful in fact I would say all the valets were excellent! We didn’t try the restaurant in the hotel so I can’t give a recommendation of yay or nay on that. The only downside is the cost of parking your car there, the valets take it for you and it is very safe but it does cost 48 a night, so keep that in mind. Overall a very good hotel.

We rented two rooms, but one of the rooms asigne to us had very bad smell. And did not look clean. The staff quickly changed that room. The hotel seems outdated and the premises and level was not what I expected for a family stay on a Courtyard.
