For the price I was paying, I expected much more. The room was just ok. Small and with thin walls (and a very active couple next door our first night) with a single chair, leaving nowhere for two people to be other than bed. just ok bathroom toiletry. Rust and soap stains on the floor and door in the tepid shower that sputtered with minimal water pressure. Not spa-like. The spa itself was hugely disappointing. I wanted to be able to go nude in the jacuzzi but since there is no men’s jacuzzi, I wore a suit. No attention paid to the men’s side…it’s just a locker room. No eucalyptus or anything in the tiny steam room. Sauna is tiny. No spa water, or ice water, or washrags in ice buckets . No razors or amenities, aside from a small container of low-grade cotton swabs haphazardly tossed in. The wallpaper is horribly stained. Had I known the spa was that disappointing, I would have booked elsewhere because I only stayed there for the spa. To be fair, I didn’t try the bar or restaurant so I cannot comment on them. Mercedes was helpful when we checked in. No maid service unless arranged, which was fine…but again, I expected more for what I paid. Definitely convenient to walking, so location is great.
