The pictures and description do not accurately describe this apartment. The check-in process was terrible with no communication from the owners. Was supposed to receive details through an e-mail that never came. Through the owner we arranged for pick-up from the train and they knew exactly what time we would arrive. There was no one there and no way of getting in. Had to phone the manager and they said they would be there in 20 minutes, which turned into 40 minutes - we were thankful that the weather wasn't inclement. Another tenant let us in so we could sit on the stairs and wait.
Warning, the cab ride they arranged from the train station cost $25 EU, we took an Uber going back and it was $10EU.
We had access to the courtyard that had a dilapidated table, umbrella and ripped chairs. The courtyard was not being maintained and there was no warm and cozy feeling sitting out there. As it is, there is no view because the walls are quite high.
The supplies were non-existent. No soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, there were extra pillows but no pillow cases or extra linens, no extra towels. Most places provide some coffee/tea, not here. The description listed a balcony - it was completely locked up so no access to it.
The location is quite a distance from the city core and in an area where there are many auto repair shops, not exactly a quaint neighbourhood. We were quite disappointed in the overall experience with this particular venue which was unfortunate and could have been much better. Porto itself was lovely.
