After "Afurada" comes the port wine cellars, located by the river with the iron bridge as a back ground.

The iron bridge is the best point to approach historical Downtown, 2 train stops away from "coimbrões" train station. after that just down the avenue direction of the bridge.
or change to surface metro and cross the the bridge straight to the hearth of historical Porto.

Canidelo beach offers some night life during the weekends.
iceberg bar being the most popular place. several bars and restaurants are spread along the sea cost of gaia.
there are a lot of night life all around the historical center.
