Lovely small hotel. Ideal base for our Porto visit. We stayed in the junior suite which had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. Transfers were booked for us and we paid the hotel directly. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Very friendly, helpful staff.

We had a lovely pleasant stay here for a girls trip! Location was great and in walking distance to the centre. Our room had a lovely terrace and was great for chilling out after a busy day. Super comfy bed and hear no noise at all, so we slept great for the 4 x night we spent there! Can’t wait to come back again :)

The staff members are super accommodating, prompt, and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to major attractions, and also in a very quiet neighbourhood. We got the one-bedroom ground-floor suite with two baths, one kitchenette with a fridge, so it is easy to store drinks and snacks. The hotel has a cute garden adjacent to the breakfast room, providing some tranquility after hectic tourism during the day.

The property has been clearly cherished and carefully refurbished. It will appeal to architectural purists - beautiful round skylight over the stairway, the single piece of polished concrete in the dining area, tasteful combinations of old and modern etc. The location is good for the market. It is a fair uphill walk back up from the main Porto attractions on the river which was fine for us but could be more challenging for others. There is a small supermarket at the end of the street. The breakfast arrangements could be spelt out a little more clearly. Breakfast is served downstairs. Only when other guests began to order omelettes etc did we realise that orders were actually being taken. Other than that, it was fairly basic - scrambled eggs are served on a small side plate, omelettes the same. Once you get your head around that, its fine, but it is not four star as some reviews have stated. It offers a basic, clean and very friendly offering, set within a very well-refurbished building.

A really fantastic hotel with great staff who were also very helpful. We really enjoyed our room although it can be a little noisy with passing traffic or street cleaners. Great location near the metro and the main historic sites. Would really recommend!

This was a very unique property. Very comfortable bed, with decent amenities, however the housekeeping was limited to bed making. Also we did not recieve the Expedia bonus of a "bottle of spirits", it was not mentioned. Great price point, huge room, weather did not comply to using the garden.

The hotel is very clean and close to the tourists attractions. We had a large and comfortable room. This hotel doesn’t have an elevator, something to keep in mind if someone needs it. The breakfast area is well decorated, the staff is very pleasant, but the menu options are limited.

Lovely property right near Rue Santa Catarina shopping district and Mercado Bolhão. I had a fantastic room on the third floor (no elevator) with a giant balcony. Perfect! Room does heat up in the afternoon but that was to my preference. Great little minimart right around the corner from hotel as well. Easy walking distance to any of the main sights and districts. I liked the keypad entry to both the hotel and my room so no messing with a room key card. Kind, helpful people at the hotel. Was sorry to leave and would definitely stay again.
