The room is a good size with a bit unusual separated shower and toilet in glass enclosures. So, if you sit in the toilet and can watch your partner in the shower and vice versa. The room has wood floors, an everage size double bed, a good ac, a safe deposit box, sleepers, but very limited storage space for clothes and suitcases. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and polite. Room cleaning service is just okay but could be better. Breakfast is fine; coffee, tea, and cookies are served all day. Remember, taxi or a car cannot stop at the entrance and you would need to walk the last 100 meters. The property is literally on the river bank in the walking distance, 1 -5 min, to a few dozens of restaurants and the main historical places and attractions. The walk uphill to the center of the city is about 15-20 min. Hills are steep in Porto. The walk to the main bridge along the river is flat, about 15 min. Views from the bridge and from the hill on the opposite side of the river are spectacular!
