The view is amazing ! The place is the best to visit all skye. The Hill cottage is " un petit bijou" as we say in french. We will love to come again !

Excellent Location for Skye Vacation

We spent a few days on Skye and this property was perfect for us. It is a modest property with stunning views. Even though it's in an area with other homes, it doesn't have any homes close and the views are uninterrupted. The hosts were very communicative and I felt that if we had any trouble they would have been right there to help us. However, we didn't encounter any problems and enjoyed out stay very much! The Location was convenient to a lot of the north of the Isle. We could reach everything we had planned on with ease.I would recommend this property!

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is really nice and quiet and the property is pristine. The views are amazing. I cooked two of our three nights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The last night we were there it was rainy and cold. The log burner was a welcome addition. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely and Quiet

This house is well taken care of and has an amazing view over the bay. We went through some incredibly windy nights and the house was quiet and toasty. Would love to spend more time in this area of Skye.

Perfect wee cottage

Hill Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for on Skye. It is well situated for our excursions around the Trotternish peninsula. We wanted to stay longer just to appreciate the views. If we get the chance to come back to Skye, we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing

The cottage is wonderful. Beautiful views from every window. Nice kitchen that is well stocked to prepare meals (grocery store is about 15 minutes away in Portree). Bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend to others!

Outstanding!

A newer property with excellent construction and a beautiful location our family enjoyed the Hill Cottage enormously. The pictures are accurate and everything was as expected and in some cases even better. A strong recommend for a group of four or less for a holiday on The Isle of Skye!

This cottage is a magical place with ever-changing views of the lake. The wood floors and large rooms are beautiful. The kitchen is quite large and well-equipped. The place is immaculately cleaned. I appreciate it having a washing machine, too. You won’t want to leave!

Idyllic Stay on Skye

The views from the fabulous country cottage are simply stunning. The cottage is a very well-appointed house that has everything one could want. The house is situated to take advantage of views from every room. The kitchen is modern and easy to use, and radiant heating in the rooms keeps the cottage snug. Being only a ten-minute drive to Portree makes this a convenient location and yet provides the peace and quiet of the countryside. You will not be disappointed if you rent this charming house. Great locale for visiting Skye

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. A short drive to Portree and good access to everything from the Fairy Pools, Talisker, Dunvegan, Old Man of Storr, and Fairy Glen.

Lovely home with a beautiful view of a Loch.

Such a charming home with views of the loch from the bedrooms and living room. The owner was helpful and friendly. Spacious kitchen with everything one needs to make a meal. Lots of closet space and laundry area was perfect for our needs. Would recommend to anyone and stay there again if had the chance.
