This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Portree. Right in the middle of city center and the hotel staff was super friendly. Rooms were cute. On site breakfast, restaurant and service was amazing.
Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Room was clean and very comfortable. Really friendly and efficient staff. Speaking Gaelic was a bonus too.
Everything was good and most importantly the bed was comfortable. The only concern I had was there being no lift which is tough when you are old with mobility issues. However, after finding myself on the third floor the hotel were able to move me down to the first making life so much easier. I was grateful
A lovely small rustic hotel, filled with character. The restaurant was wonderful, service staff so friendly. For a Portree experience, this is a wonderful place.
A great nights sleep in in a comfortable room overlooking the square in Portree. Staff very friendly and helped with my heavy bag. Overall a great place to stay.
The staff was very good polite and courteous, the breakfast spreads excellent, the bedroom were tidy however light duvet on a single bed and no top sheet were an issue. I found that during the night because the duvet was so light it would slip off when I turned over, causing to wake me up and leaving me tired on the morning. I would suggest that the hotel include adding top sheets to their single beds to prevent issues.
Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance.
Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare.
Have come across friendlier hotels! Room had very bright fire exit signs, so couldn't sleep well. Stay was just ok, comfortable, but wouldn't rush back. Decent breakfast and came quick.
One night stay in a cosy singke room. Bed was under the eaves so I was a little concerned about hitting my head off the sloping roof over the bed but all okay. Cooked and continental breakfast was nice but they did run out of croissants
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar in the hotel were small, but nice. Food was good. There is a pay parking lot right across the street if you have a car. There is no lift at this hotel.
The rooms were spotless. First night Room 1 - The shower couldnt be used as the thermostat was not working and only scalding hot water was output. I was moved to another room for the 2nd night. First night I was on the 3rd floor and found the steps to my room were too steep for me to negotiate. It was unpleasant. 2nd room I was on 1st Floor. Molly? housekeeping staff was very friendly, and I appreciated her assistance.
Terrible service, it was as if the staff didn't want us to be there. Only 1 staff member we dealt with was any good. Clean room. V small bathroom. Great breakfast.
Great location; harbour nearby and amazing walks and scenery easily accessible. Room on 3rd floor, clean and well supplied but overpriced. Service was generally ok but obviously overstretched.
