Don't judge a book by its cover

The outside of the building is dated, as to be expected. The rooms were modern, extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. All of the staff were extremely warm, yet professional. I would stay here again.

Checked into my room and left. This hotel is DISGUSTING looks like something out of a horror movie. The rooms are not as they are shown on Expedia, place has an awful musty smell and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I left and checked into the Hilton down the road, lost my money, and j didn’t even care.

Needs TLC but the bed was comfortable

The building was in desperate need of upkeep. The ceiling had water damage, only one of the bedside lamps worked, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were disintegrating, the showerhead leaked. The room stunk of stale cigarette smoke. On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable. Given the proximity to the interstate you couldn’t hear it. When I was getting ready to leave the I noticed housekeeping really trying their best to clean common areas.

OK, Reader a real review; and NOT a ChiCom Bot. First up, a Large dose of Praise for "Tom" who was working on the 22 June 2025. A big help in many ways to this writer. Now; the place is a trifle run down and sad in places. Its 'the next of kin' to the Interstate, and you can hear the traffic. BUT, its clean, the bed was good, and for the price its a good value. It is lacking a bit in some aeras. The shower/bathtub has NO grab rails, and no 'non slip' stickers on the floor. This writer is mobility impaired, so a shower was a real 'danse of death'. There is but ONE room that is ADA compliant, which was occupied. I did not see any note of its existence on the wepage. Still, such small details are a HELP for many. Oddly, in 2025, there was no USB ports that I could find, to charge my cell phone. There are no 'number cues' on the walls to tell you which way to what number room. The place is in the throes of an extensive renovation. so things may change for the Reader after June of 2025. So if you want no frills, and a decent room price for the location, and are not of the 'high and mighty' snooty traveler brand, then this lodging is worth the stay and $.
