The hotel claims 4 stars but the service and cleanliness do not match. Reception is only open between 11am and 10pm. At checkout, you leave the keys in the room, since there is no one around, and no one in case you need help. Room is dirty, dusty, has not been vacuumed. Bathroom is moldy, black mold growing on the tiles everywhere. Drain clogged causes water to accumulate in the shower pan. The "tools" are there (heating, cooling, fridge, phone, etc) to earn the 4 stars, but the quality of the service and the cleanliness is lacking, leaving a sour taste in the experience.

I have stayed here 3 times total since 2021. I made a reservation for the Royal Suite that includes not only a large bath with sprayer but also a separate free-standing shower. It's listed on the Expedia description this way that the room has also a separate shower and I stayed in that particular Suite in 2021. I was given a Suite of equal square footage and rooms but no separate shower This was annoying. I am 60 years old; we were there for a week in this room and climbing in and out of the bath that is up two tiled steps is dangerous and there is no handle for support. If it was just for 2 nights it wouldn't matter, but it was for 7 nights. If I booked that type of room, it should have been reserved for me as it is listed on Expedia.

The room was gorgeous but not well maintained. For example, no shampoo and conditioner, no cattle, no tea cups. The bathroom had bidet and deep, very nice bathtub; however the toilet was dirty and no ability to take a shower, no shower curtain as well. We were not able to indicate if we are slip and don’t want to be disturbed as well as to let cleaning ladies know that we left the room. The location is absolutely primary, reception services are great.

Great old-fashioned hotel with amazing view of the castle. So-so breakfast buffet. I had a huge room with a tiled bathroom and a monstrous tub; I felt like a king! However, my first night there was only tepid water. I’m glad they fixed it on subsequent nights. Lots of charm and I’d happily return.

quiet - very near bridge - not charles bridge but the next one upriver. walkable all over. nice hotel and staff very helpful and friendly. room nice but we did not have a shower - only bath so we had to get used to this. and one day unfortunately not enough hot water ??? but ok otherwise.

Bed was comfortable and room was extremely spacious. However, there was no hot water every day after around 10pm. Also found several little midges (fly like bugs) on my bed, most likely because the window was left open when I checked into my room. For those with accessibility issues, be wary that the elevator stops between floors so you’ll have to walk down a flight of stairs either way after using the elevator.

The front desk employees, particularly the young man was very nice/helpful. The room it self was unsafe. The doors could easily be pushed in. In addition the beds were stained and new sheets were requested as there was hair on them, both beds.
