Our stay at Open Gate was amazing. The rooms were beautiful with spectacular water views. But the best part about it was the staff. It’s a family run hotel and they are wonderful to talk with. Very helpful, friendly and always welcoming.

Open Gate Hotel in Praiano is a true gem on the Amalfi Coast! The rooms are spacious, spotless, and have incredible views of the sea that make every morning and evening unforgettable. The room was spacious, we had a room with four beds, it was clean and the comforters were so thick and comfortable! The air conditioning worked amazingly. The breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs! The bathroom was large with a great shower! The balcony had chairs and great views! Great hotel.

Stunning views from our room, and I think this was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was wonderful and treated us as if we were old friends - they were lovely. Just know that walking to town is not that easy. No sidewalks and traffic buzzing around turns makes it a bit scary. You should taxi to town and elsewhere

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted outside the entrance by the hotel staff, and that personal attention continued throughout our stay. The room was well appointed, spacious, and spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet, offering an impressive array of freshly prepared, homemade specialties. The location was ideal for connecting to the local bus service, and the staff were eager to provide us with helpful travel information. Special appreciation goes to Pasquale and his team for providing a wonderful experience and for the thoughtful care package prepared to support our 3:00 a.m. departure.
