Nice quiet lol town with hidden treasures to offer

Loved the hotel. Had a good view of the Mississippi. Loved the bar and restaurant. Was able to take drinks from bar to our room. I think you could order food and all to the room too, but didn't try that. Also was able to charge food and drinks to the room if you chose to. It was a one-stop hotel. Also had a patio with river view. Everything on the town seemed to be within decent walking range. Would have loved to stayed a little longer to check more stuff out - like the walking trail by the river. Looking forward to a return trip soon. The town seemed to be a quaint quiet town.

We had a lovely stay! People are very nice, rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Good central location with river views. Restaurant had good live music and we enjoyed our burger and flatbread!

Pictures on sitecmade it look like private balconies but rooms did nit have that. Could sut outside though on groubd floor or in restaurant overlooking little wetlands area. Very comfortable and ckean.

Beautiful and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the patio and the restaurant/deck. Staff was very friendly. However, I was continually woken up. There was a wedding going on in their event center and people were loudly talking and running down the hall until about 2 am. I was on the 1st floor and the people in the room above me were very loud.

Family run hotel well-located near downtown (within walking distance) and natural/cultural attractions (St. Feriole Island). Within 10-20 minute drive of state parks (Wyalusing and Pikes Peak) and NPS Monument (Indian Effigy Mounds) in both Wisconsin and Iowa. A 10 minute walk to the Mississippi River. Very personable and helpful staff. Reasonable hot and cold breakfast choices included. Bar/restaurant located within the hotel with good selections. The facility is well-maintained and very clean. We would recommend a stay here while in the Prairie du Chien area.

A nice place in a very convenient location (launch spot for local hiking and birding). Decent restaurant on-site with good options and a nice outdoor balcony area. Breakfast was included and kind of normal hotel breakfast fare, but fine. Very friendly people around the town. Could use a few upgrades, but most hotels do. We had a nice stay.
