This was our longest stay in Provo to visit family. We were very comfortable in the home and it had all the amenities we needed to fix meals for our family and friends. We loved the large table for eating and games. The house is decorated nicely and has a âhomeyâ feel to it. The only point we would mention to make it better overall would be to give the front porch a new paint job.
We had such a great stay we extended an extra night! The proximity to the City Center and easy drive to BYU and other areas made this an ideal home for our stay. The home is small and the two bedrooms were a bit tight but not inconvenient. The listing showed driveway parking available but there is only street parking available. During the day parking got a little crowded on the street but had no issues finding parking in front of the house at night. There are downstairs tenants we heard from time to time but did not ruin our experience at all. WiFi was fast. There were several small black beetles of some kind all over the ceiling and front door that we had to take care of to keep our younger one from freaking out but I didnât mind them. Keep the porch light off to deter bugs from hanging out on the porch.
Very old and run down. The area felt unsafe. The railings to the porch are unsafe as was the hose running across the entrance. What was even being watered, the lawn was all weeds. The porch was filthy and unusable where the seating was. The towels smelt dirty. Coffee pot was broken. Overall very very disappointing.
We gathered as a family to enjoy General Conference and celebrate Easter with our family that live in the area. This was a very nice place to gather and make memories.
Lovely house. Perfect for 4 people. Great location for a business trip as it was a close walk to restaurants and the Convention Center. Wish there was a blender but otherwise had everything you'd need for basics.
We were happy that the house was exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and comfortable. We spent Thanksgiving Weekend here. Plenty of cookware and silverware. The couches were big and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to contact. We would gladly come back.
This place is absolutely darling. There were only two of us staying there, but we couldâve had more. It was a wonderfully well appointed place. One of my pet peeves is when a rental place does not have enough dining room chairs for the number of people they claim they can sleep. This was not the problem here and there was also plenty of couch space as well.
The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Thereâs no dishwasher, but that was not a problem. I liked the location. I felt like I could get right where I wanted to go quickly. I especially liked that I could see the Provo City Center, Temple from the side front windows.
The hosts were very responsive. I didnât have any need for them during my visit, but when I messaged them before my stay, and as I was getting ready to depart, they were prompt to reply.
This is a cute and clean two bedroom, The kitchen had most things we needed. Hooray! The beds were soft. There were a couple of things that I wouldâve like to know before I went. For example, there is only street parking. Also, the basement is occupied and you can occasionally, hear the residents. On the night I arrived, my plane was late. I had to park down the street, the porch was dark, and the code would not work to allow me in the house. Yikes! However, I reached out to the host and he immediately fixed the lock remotely. It was 12:15 am.
There was an obligatory insurance added on after I agreed to rent this place. That was $59 I was not interested in spending for 2 calm adults. I think those things if they had been disclosed as part of the description, I wouldâve found this house to be spot on delightful!
Charming house near downtown Provo and close to BYU
Very charming 2 bdrm home near downtown Provo and close to BYU. Just around the corner from a nice mexican restaurant and bakery and close to the grocery store. The 2 bdrm and queen beds were perfect for the 4 of us as we spent two days with our kids getting settled into their college housing. Plenty of room to relax, hang out or just watch movies, very clean and just as pictured. My one suggestion is to find a parking spot on the street early as it fills up very fast. Hosts were quick to respond with questions and suggestions.
