This place was awesome ! I was here for 6 nights, and will definitely return next year. As you’ve read the other comments, the food is not as bad as the reviews say. I found it best to get to breakfast right at 8am for best freshest food . The Italian spot was good, they have a person making fresh pasta by request ! Axel was great! Golf cart Carlos ( is what I call him ) was Johnny on the spot . All the bartenders at the front desk were amazing am and pm shifts. Before my uber came we played how many margaritas can we drink before the uber gets here lol . Francisco was great and Hazel in housekeeping really made my stay great ! The snack park by building 5 has great fish tacos and chicken wings! The pools and grounds are cleaned daily ! The water slide is fast Becareful ! Oh and they have karaoke which I sang Bob Jovi Dead or Alive . Overall this place was great !! As far as the food goes…have a few drinks and work up an appetite first …enjoy

Nice property, but we were really hoping for a quiet resort. They play really loud music at every pool with the same songs every day and there is no quiet place to relax. The resort is in a nice valley with alot of trees but the staff are constantly cleaning leaves with noisy gas powered leaf blowers. The pool with a view and full day sun unfortunatly had semitrucks delivering water to the resort throughout the day and have to use loud generator pumps to pump in the water.

The resort was amazing! Plenty of food options and great customer service. We had 2 amazing servers at the beach and Alexis at the Media Luna was fantastic, Along with Daniel at tower 6 bar and Victor with the golf carts. That is just to name a few! Everyone was helpful inviting and attentive. Lots of pools in various areas and food options throughout the day from the pantry to the food truck buffets Hibachis and the bar food at all locations. The wild life was amazing to view as well!

The grounds and overall feel of this resort are exquisite. If you’d like somewhere with more of a right in the middle of the jungle feel, this one is for you. With all the different pools and different buildings you really get a chance to explore the resort as a whole. The staff were also amazing and always so helpful and fun!

We checked out 3 days into our 7 day holiday. The food selection was awful. The buffet didn’t even have heating lights on the hot food. Everything was cold. The pools were heated and felt like you were in a bathtub of urine. The bars weren’t open until 12:00. The distance from everything makes this resort too out of the way. It was beautiful, the staff were great too

The property was beautiful, and as someone who prefers mountains over the ocean, it was the perfect setting for me. The shuttle to the beach club was easy, efficient, and well organized. The beach club itself offered nice seating and a decent menu. That said, if you don’t eat seafood or red meat, dining options there can be a bit challenging. As expected in many parts of the city, you should be prepared to be approached by locals selling items throughout your time at the beach, which can be tiring over the course of the day. Overall, the resort was clean and well maintained. One disappointment was the glass barrier at the adults-only pool, it was dirty for the entirety of our stay and obstructed what should have been a stunning rooftop ocean view, which was frustrating. We stayed in Tower 6, and while the room itself was comfortable, the walls were paperthin. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms, and I truly mean everything. On a positive note, the mattress and pillows were fantastic and made for very comfortable sleep. The buffet food was about a 7/10. There was a good variety overall and it would generally satisfy most guests. However, once again, those who don’t eat seafood or red meat may struggle. There were a couple of nights where my only protein options were pork or fish, which left me going without. That said, the buffet in Tower 6 was by far the best on the resort,the meats there were consistently juicy and very tender.

Our stay overall was okay,The room was in good condition and housekeeping, came each day and cleaned the room and the beds, so that was nice. But there were notable things that could have been improved. The water took a long time to heat up in the shower and sometimes it didn’t heat up at all.All the “hot”tubs were lukewarm and extremely busy. The staff were great but overall the pool was so busy we didn’t get chairs for 2 days during our stay. Lastly all the food at the restaurants was mostly cold and lacked quality and flavor. This was our first experience here.

I had high hopes and was very disappointed. bathtub had no drain to hold water, no pool service you would wait hours with no service unless you go up to bar. Garbage and empty cups everywhere, no snacks unless scheduled meals. Fighting for chairs that would sit empty all day with towels and no body in sight.

Tower 6 has the best pool, it's in the sun all day. Snack bars have better food than the buffet. Towels can be hard to come by, don't wait to get fresh towels. The beach had best service (thanks Susana). Morning buffet is busy at 10am and dinner buffet is busy at 8pm.
