Property is older but well maintained. Food was good with good variety. Friendly and accommodating staff. Area outside hotel is nice, clean and walkable with a mall nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

When we initially booked this property because of its raving reviews, we were convinced that this will be a great way to spend 8 days of our vacation here and looked forward to the ultimate experience. We’ve stayed at several all inclusives before and have loved previous experiences. I’ll start with the good things, the exterior of the property is beautiful, well maintained grounds, and beach is relatively clean and easy to get into. The water is shallow but the waves can get very rough for the little ones. Sunsets are beautiful but you’re not haggled by vendors about like 3 times in an hour. We loved the food at the Mariachi restaurant (highly recommend the salmon tacos! And passion fruit mezcalita) David, Laura & Miguel the servers looked after us and are wonderful! Now, the buffet is highly focused on Mexican cuisine almost every day so it’s best to alternate reservations between the 3 restaurants. Reservations are contradicting, lots of miscommunication between the concierge & the host at the restaurants, they kept messing up our numbers for the table and the also told us they won’t join tables while there were some instances where they would: it was very frustrating. The pool is disgustingly warm & won’t let you use the second pool which is for royal club and almost always empty, only if you pay for $100usdpp. Also the front desk receptionist is really rude, this is the first all inclusive that I’ve been to that doesn’t do anything for special occasions.

The hotel was clean, with friendly staff and nice facilities. Overall, the stay was good, but the promised ocean view was disappointing, as from the room you could only see a small portion of the sea. Also, the VIP benefit of a bottle and chocolates was not as expected: I had to request the bottle because it was not delivered upon arrival, and when it came it was very small (200 ml). The chocolates were only delivered the day before departure. These details should be improved so that the experience matches what is advertised.

Hard to sleep at nights because of the lobby noise even i was at the 5th floor.i asked to switch rooms but the were asking for extra money my room had cockroaches. Power outages one day power was out for long from 1pm until 8:30am there was no Ac it was so hot. Hard to communicate very few staff speaks english, but they were nice. Resort was full of local people.They were nice but again hard to communicate. Front desk were staff were not helpful enough. Three days stay one good restaurants.They allowed which we didn't know otherwise, I wouldn't book. Got stuck in the elevator for good, 5 minutes with no help at the end i pull the door to open my self. Never want to go back wasted money

The worst service you could find in Nuevo Vallarta

We arrived early to check in, as a Hotels.com Gold member when possible the hotel will allow you to check in early, we did this in most hotels in the area, but they told us to comeback at 3:00pm to check in, so we had to leave and kill some time, we made it back at 3:20 to my surprise one of the receptionists told us that we had to wait another 20 minutes to check in, I was very upset, and who appeared to be the manager tried to help and allowed us to check in to one of the two rooms we booked and just wait for the second one to be ready! When we arrived at the room the air conditioner was on and it smelled like a dirty mop, literally! I had to open the balcony and the front doors, which was better than dealing with the smell. On the second day we went to the beach, which is the best we have found so far in Vallarta! We were thirsty so we asked for a glass to get water to one of the bartenders by the main pool and he told us they were closing and therefore he could not give us a glass! I could not believe it! Then I heard him say to another guest he could serve him only if he was a Royal member. Then a server gave us a hard time because we weren’t completely dry to enter the snack, informal, Mexican restaurant, but many other guests were in the same condition as us and already eating, there was not sign stating this! Also, when trying to get our cards for the used towels we were told to bring the towels to reception as proof instead since they didn’t have any cards Ridiculous
