The hotel was very clean and the staff was professional and nice. Most of them also speak good English so they can understand you beside that. The food was great on all aspect variety of things for everyone was available for breakfast lunch and dinner. We will definitely go back sometime soon.

Need more washrooms for resort size, entertainment was mediocre and lacked fresh content. Would prefer more Canadian type content. The morning buffet was lacking freshness and choices were the same without variety. I feel quality is slipping with Riu resorts as this one was the worst so far of three that I have experienced. This resort was chosen for a wedding, which they also were not able to set up at the pre arranged time, sound system not working properly, and too many other issues to list. Wedding coordinator no where to be found, and a complete lack of attention to detail and follow up was experienced.

We have been to more than 7 all inclusive resorts and let me tell you, this place was amongst the best- Especially for the price! The food was amazing!!! Great variety of food options even though there are 5 restaurants. San Rafael was our favorite restaurant for dinner because they offer so many options here. When we first arrived we didn’t like how people seemed rushed or desperate while getting food from the buffet but it is a family resort which I guess may contribute to this desperation. I thought maybe there wouldn’t be any more food but that was never the case. This is a huge resort and everything is fast paced due to the amount of people.

Rooms are nice, as are the pool area and beach. However food is mediocre, and you can’t make reservations for the specialty restaurants; you need to get in line before they open and hope to get in. You can only get pool towels once a day, and we were charged $25 to check out one hour late. Overall our stay was disappointing.

This property was supprisingly very nice. Since its not a Riu Palace property I wasn't expecting much. I would say overall the food, property and staff were top notch. If I were to complain of anything, it would be the nighly shows. Very boring. Except for the live music.
