We preferred the “time share” pool to the hotel pool because it was a little quieter than the hotel pool. From about noon on, the music at the hotel pool was unnecessarily loud. The mattress on our bed was well past its prime and our pillows should have been tossed years ago. Worst part of our stay was the aggressive time share sales tactics. We were not even out of our cab when it began. People masquerading as helpful staff were in fact trying to get you into a time share presentation. This experience practically ruined our first couple of days at the hotel. I felt suspicious of the friendly staff for fear I was about to be pitched some other service. It was extremely off-putting. The location is good and the staff we encountered at breakfast and the pool were truly lovely.

I did not like that I had to listen to a sales pitch about why I should attend a timeshare presentation just to get a map of the hotel property! The beach is not that great, not as nice as the other beaches in the area.

Mother and teen son trip in Nov 2025 for five nights. We had the all inclusive option which was well worth the few hundred dollars extra we paid when booking a package. The location is very nice to walk to and around PVR. We really enjoyed running to town in the mornings and walking around town in the evenings. We loved our room on the main floor. It was spacious, convenient and quiet with a nice outdoor patio (no privacy from people walking by but that didn’t bother us). The quiet pool was absolutely beautiful. It’s large with a bridge to a large island in the middle that has a huge hot tub surrounded by plants. It made the resort very special. The drinks are amazing but we were very disappointed with the food. The buffet is okay for breakfast but no bacon during our entire stay. It has a very poor selection for lunch and you are much better off ordering from the small but good pool menu, which is a very nice service to have. Dinners were also mediocre at the buffet. We tried the Mexican restaurant one night and it was very fancy Mexican with small portions and incredibly slow service. It also doesn’t have a typical Mexican atmosphere and no fajitas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. By far the most outstanding meal was the outdoor fiesta night, with an extensive buffet that had an incredible range of amazing options. The gym is very nice and well equipped. We did not try the spa. The beach is very disappointing and we saw no one on it our entire stay.

It’s a really nice place to stay. Some minor annoyances such as being able to hear the lift from our room and other doors closing but we enjoyed our stay. The pool and facilities are very good, staff very helpful / friendly.

The only issue was that the room they gave us was as smelly Luckily we were there only to sleep and did not stay all day Complained to the front desk but they only sent a lady to spray in the room. While lastest for a few hours. A lot of inconvience The lady who came to spray knew about the issue of the smell. She mentioned that the room was recently painted that is why there was a smell I wish they gave us another room.

Location is good in terms of airport proximity, I am not sure that I would stay here again though due to the load music. I stayed on the 13th floor with a terrace and nightly there was music that I could feel the bass playing with noise cancelling headphones, it was a bit extreme to say the least. There was a night where it played until 1am. My hotel in Vegas was quieter. I am all for music but let’s be reasonable with the hours of the night please. If you find a good deal and don’t care about sleep this place is for you.

Overall a very good experience. Good dining options. Jacuzzi very large but otherwise lacking. Not hot enough and too shallow. Hotel does not have a sauna, I guess in a warm climate not too interesting.

Rolando and Carlos were awesome! Friendly, and made great drinks. The restaurants that you had to reserve were a little disappointing. All inclusive except for the menu items that had stars next them which was almost the entire menu besides tacos. Food was delicious tho at least. Room was awesome, pools and areas were beautiful. Time share push was a little much sometimes.
