The common areas were disappointing (not as pictured). The one woman working the check-in desk, while fielding phone calls, was very pleasant but clearly overworked. The one woman looking after the breakfast service was charming and extremely helpful.

No hot shower

Friendly staff. No hot water in the shower. Lukewarm shower at best. When I informed the staff, no one was available to help. When I mentioned it at check out, the staff just said sorry.

I had a two night reservation guaranteed by my credit card. The first night there was a terrible storm predicted (tornado and hail) and I decided to delay my trip. I called the hotel twice (no answer) and texted once. No response. I arrived the next day for my second night’s stay. They told me I was a no show and COULD NOT HAVE THE ROOM even though I had paid for it. The only way they would have allowed me to stay was to pay for a third time. I did not do this. I left the premises and found another much nicer place to stay. I had stayed at the Inn at Gig Harbor on three recent occasions due to a death in the family. I will NEVER stay here again. In Gig Harbor the Best Western Wesley is much nicer, better amenities, fabulous breakfast and at a lower price.
