2/10 Terrible

I recently stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess, and unfortunately, it was one of my most disappointing resort experiences in Punta Cana. I’ve visited the area multiple times and stayed at several other resorts, but I’ve never encountered issues like this before.
From the moment I checked into my first room (room 9411 on January 2nd), there was a severe mosquito problem. I was bitten multiple times each night, and despite requesting help, the only initial solution offered was to spray the room. This did not resolve the issue, and I continued to deal with mosquitoes even after they finally moved me to another room a couple of days later. The new room was slightly better, but the problem persisted.
In addition to the mosquito issue, the food at all the resort’s restaurants was honestly terrible. There was a lack of quality and variety, and I found myself unable to enjoy any of the meals. There was also minimal entertainment or activities to make up for the discomfort I was dealing with.
When I spoke to the front desk and the supervisor about these issues, the only advice they gave me was to email my experience. There was no offer of compensation or genuine attempt to resolve the situation beyond moving rooms, which did not fix the core problem. Ultimately, I felt dismissed and left to deal with the inconvenience on my own.
In summary, I would not recommend staying at this resort. The combination of poor food quality, a serious mosquito problem, and unhelpful customer service
