Swim up bar was nice, pools were also nice. Buffet food options lacked diversity and options, overall it was not good. Only one restaurant open per night and the reservations fill up FAST. Do NOT trust the guest service people to set your reservation, my first reservation was set by them but when I got to the restaurant they did not have it so I was forced to eat the buffet again. The Italian restaurant gave the entire family food poisoning all 4 of us vomiting all night (2 adults 2 kids). The WokWok restaurant was great! For a kid focused resort there was not a lot of kid focused attractions. The character restaurant costs extra ($200 USD for my family) and was NOT worth it. Everything was extremely over inflated in price (excursions all about 4x the price, example private beach was $180 per adult, but I could book the same one for $50 on my own). Arcade area is about 3-5 dollars per game, kids toys I wasn’t too surprised on the high prices. The kids water park was pretty enjoyable. Just a short 3 minute walk from front lobby to the park. Kids really enjoyed the park even though it was a little lacking in attractions. It was just a big splash playground and a lazy river. Nothing else. The room was good and kept very clean by the cleaning staff. They even really helped us out at 1am when the whole family was sick with food poisoning and the kids had vomit on their beds. I really appreciated the staffs quick help to clean it. Overall I would never recommend it go back.

The restaurants with reservations is a headache to actually make the reservations and they get full right away, our last 2 nights we were not able to get a reservation in any of the restaurants and the buffet was a big line outside to try to get in, the staff was very rude and unfriendly considering this is a kid friendly resort, they do not cater to the children, I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone.

I visited with my wife and our two kids, ages 2 and 4. The room wasn’t ready until about 45 minutes after the scheduled check-in time, but that’s not really my main concern. Overall, I liked the resort, but I can’t give it 5 stars because my 4-year-old nearly lost his life — if it weren’t for how quickly I reacted. The pool surrounding the kids’ water park is 3.6 feet deep, which is quite deep for children under 4. I think it’s poorly designed to have such a deep pool around an area meant for young kids. They do have lifeguards, but wearing life jackets isn’t required like in other places, meaning you’re basically swimming at your own risk. On our first day, we went to that water park and didn’t realize the pool was that deep for small kids. We lost sight of our son for about three minutes, and when I finally found him, he was in the pool alone — no staff had noticed. He was holding onto the edge, and I still don’t understand how the situation didn’t turn tragic. I believe the hotel is irresponsible for not requiring young children to wear life jackets.

Paid for an upgrade room had ants on the balcony . Couldn’t lay on my balcony The water park wasn’t completed and customer service was terrible until I paid extra to become an elite prestige traveler member . They said you needed a reservations for every restaurant when I made them. I was the only person there and you didn’t need any reservations. There isn’t a lot of things to do for my 8 year old son .

From the moment I arrived, this stay was a nightmare. No welcome drink, no greeting — just rushed straight to the front desk where I was aggressively upsold a swim-out room that had to be paid in cash. Then I was handed off to a concierge who tried to pressure me into a timeshare presentation. I told him I’d been traveling 13 hours with an overstimulated child and just wanted to rest, yet he kept pushing. When I finally got to my room, the mini bar was empty. The food was mediocre, and the drinks were so watered down they tasted like virgin cocktails. The bathtub leaked all over the floor, the shower flooded the bathroom, and the mini bar was hot. Maintenance came, but somehow made it worse. No one ever followed up or cared to fix anything. Throughout my stay, I was harassed by multiple timeshare salespeople — at least four or five times. When I finally complained, a staff member pretended to “send an email” to fix things, but of course, nothing was done. At checkout, the power went out for over two hours. We packed in the dark and heat because the air conditioning barely worked. Staff were rude, especially if you don’t speak Spanish, and they still expected tips for poor service. As someone who’s worked in the hotel industry, this level of service is unacceptable. Just because it’s a family resort doesn’t mean guests should have to deal with filth, broken rooms, and pushy sales tactics. Being followed around the gift shop like a thief was the final straw.

Hice una reserva para mi cumpleanos, fui con mi mama, mi esposo, y mi hija reserve 3 dias 2 noches primero desde que llegamos al hotel se suponia que el check in era a las 3:00 pm, esperamos hasta las 3;30pm y me dicen pueden subir usted y su esposo a su habitacion y yo les dije como asi y mi mama su habitacion ? oh ella puede ir con ustedes su habitacion estara al lado que es que la estan terminando de limpiar me quedue en shock ok subimos porque andaba con mi bebe y quedaron de llamar o a mi que llamara eran las 4 y nada asi que llame y dicen ok puede ir a su hab. ya esta casi lista pero ya puede entrar , cuando llegamos a su hab. esta saliendo la de limpieza cerro la puerta y nos dijo que abrieramos con la llave pues tratamos y nada volvemos a mi hab. y llame a reservacion y me dicen que mi mama que baje a buscar la llave al momento le dije que me comunicara con un supervisor porque como iba mi mama a ir tan lejos a buscar una llave , entonces dicen ok le vamos a mandar una casi a las 5 de la tarde despues llamamos porque el aire no servia mandan a alguien a chekarlo y segun el lo arreglo pero nada no sirvio nunca en los dias que estuvimos ahi la segunda noche llamamos para lo mismo y nada nos contestaron y colgaron y jamas volvieron a llamar, ibas a recepcion nadie te ayudaba para nada , llamabas y nada una mala actitud quisimos hacer una reserva en uno de losrestaurantes y nada no pudimos fuimos a recepcion para ver si nos ayudaban y nos dijeron que ahi no era su traba

Food options were terrible , our tv did not work until our 4th day , the power kept going in and out then we had to go a few hours without any water in our room so we couldn’t take a shower when we told customer service they did nothing to compensate us but give us a sorry

Staying at an amazing hotel with great food is such a treat, isn't it? Imagine walking into a beautifully decorated room and instantly feeling relaxed. The smell of delicious food wafting from the restaurant always gets my attention. Having someone else cook amazing meals while on vacation is the best. I wish I was there right now!
