Estuvo en este resort celebrants el cumpleaños de mi esposo y nuestra stadia fue por sure dias, desde que llegamos nos dieron una bienvenida muy cariñosa y especial . Un empleado llamado Clifort nos asistio con mucho espero y amabilidad todo el tiempo tambien el señor Juan Carlos nuestro mayordomo nos ayudo en todo momento y siempre estuvo a sus ordenes cuando lo nesecitamos el Juan Carlos realmente es un empleado ejemplar y muy profesional me ayudo con la preparacion del cumpleaños de mi esposo asi como tambien lo dió todo para que nuestra estadia en Occidental Caribe fuera inolbidablemente hermosa. Gracias a Cindy la mayordomo por su cervicio excelente y profesional. A todo el staff gracias por tanto amor y cervicio exelente. Quiero gradecer a Melvin el cocinero del restaurant Japones por su exelente trabajo y su gran cervicio para con nosotros. The hotel is nice, bed was comfortable They could have more entertainment. There was a Michael Jackson show and a live band that was amazing. A display in the main lobby of where and when they would have live music would have been great. Food was not great, other than the Spanish paella and Japanese restaurant. Staff was ok. The biggest area of opportunity is making the check in process faster. After waiting 2 hours in line at the airport, we waited in line 1 hour in the heat to check in.

The Resort looks good from the outside. Pool areas are good. The staff is OK. The waitresses are great and that's what makes this resort more enjoyable. Is a 3 star resort and that's being generous. The rooms are horrible (if you travel and you've seen hotels). We changed rooms 3 times!!!... First, the A/C wasn't working properly. Second, toilet wouldn't flush properly and finally the third room was OK compared to the other ones but the bathtub wouldn't drain properly at all. I chopped at piece of my big toe in their pool, inside the pool, (yes, you read it right, chopped) and I had the worst experience after that because they don't freaking care. I made the best of this terrible experience and tried to enjoy it because it was a destination vacation but i would never stay there again or recomend it.

I like the outside of the property, the artcheture of the building and the layout of the pools and also the landscape of the property. The thing that I didn't like is the rooms inside needs some TLC. For example the floor needs some work like retiles need to replace. Otherwise I will happy to go back to the property.

Ask multiple times to have maintenance fix our toilet, tv and ac. Never happened then asked to switch rooms, didn’t happen till the next day then bathroom ceiling was leaking and never got fixed

Good service, good food, beautiful beach, everything was perfect with the hotel and the staff. Just be careful with the monkey. If you're not going to take a picture , be very careful because it broke my daughter's nose and another person's nose, who was also bleeding. When they told us the price and we said no, the monkey put its nail in my daughter's nose and broke it, it started to bleed. They should have a warning not to get close to the monkey.

This resort is beautiful, CLEAN, well kept and maintained. Rooms smell great, bed and pillows amazing and loved my little balcony. People/staff were awesome, shows and entertainment were good and it was an overall wonderful time. Game room could use some updating and attention but that is a minor detail. Pools are huge and spacious, music was enjoyable and if you want chill and quiet vibe, go the other pool that was more for families. Beach and pool had plenty of chairs… I would definitely go back!

The location was nice, the pool, beach and the grounds were nice. The food was nothing special/just ok.The biggest disappointment was the staff. They just all seemed annoyed that we were asking for service and appeared generally unhappy with being there. There were one or two that smiled a little and they were actually attentive but those were the exception. I did read the reviews prior to staying that reminded that you get what you pay for and I'm not mentioning any other issues because that is totally true. But even staying in mid scale or economy locations, you typically have staff that at least does their best to provide good service and to act welcoming and pleasant.

Estoy decepcionada con el hotel. La falta de aire acondicionado en el cuarto, la filtración de agua a través de una bombilla y la aparición de una cucaracha en nuestra habitación es la impresión que me llevo y que compartiré con los que me pidan la opinión de este hotel. Recomendaría que se tomaran un tiempo para renovar antes de continuar aceptando reservaciones en habitaciones que no están aptas para recibir turistas.

this was by far the worst resort i’ve ever stayed at. the rooms are horrible (unless you happen to get an updated one). our toilet, AC, TV, shower AND phone did not work. the food is awful, the drinks are nothing but sugar. one worker let himself into our room without permission while my friend and i were not clothed, getting ready for dinner. when we asked for help getting the issues fixed, the employees acted like they understood what we were explaining, when in reality they had no clue. which lead to further miscommunication and more issues on top of the multiple we were already dealing with. i will not be coming back and i will be telling family and friends not to book a stay here.

Overall we had a good time, but some minor details would have made it excellent.. AC in rooms never go down more than 74⁰F (24⁰C)and the humidity inside the room was awful, so sleeping wasn't comfortable. The Japanese restaurant food was delicious but NO AC so it was like a sauna in there. We only went to 3 different restaurants, we couldn't find reservations to the others. In the Italian restaurant while there starting raining and ther were literally hole on the roof allowing water in directly tonl our food. On the weekend, buffet lines got impossible to to lack of organization. But food was decent and a lot of options.
