Staff is rude, a-lot of guests felt the same. I was there for 10 night and there’s not enough activities at the adult Suites only. Any accidents that happen at the resort, you might sit in the clinic for hours with a doctor that doesn’t know what they are doing. Plus ask for a huge amount of fee for consultation even when it’s the resort that caused the accident. Whenever you request something to be bought to the room, it would take hours or even a day to get and there’s no communication exchanged during the waiting time. Don’t fall for the excursions being sold at the beach, majority of the time it’s either a scam or feel unsafe. They all wear brown Tshirts and name tags too, they are not allowed at the resort. Moreover i wouldn’t highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers or general. Especially the Adult only Suites.

The resort itself was very nice and clean. The beach was well kept and pools were all clean. Only issue we found was service… some staff seemed bothered to assist, especially the food wait staff and bartenders. Overall, was good but better service would have made it better

I wanted to love staying here. Even after seing a few reviews, I decided that more people give reviews for something they didnt like.. They were right about most things. In general the food is mediocre (except the steakhouse was good and the fish tacos at the sunset bar). The organization for reservations and seating for dinner especially in the teppanyki was severly lacking. The first night we ate buffet (which was fine) because they closed dinner reservations at 3 and we checked in at 4. The hostess told us there were table times available and to go up front and they basically said no. Iam not a partier or joiner in most things, but the lack of resort planned activities was surprising especially considering the pools closed at 6 as did most bars. I guess that's how they make their money..The 8 restaurants was more like a 3 at a time. We didnt see all open at the same time amd one is temporarily closed. You have buffet or the sports bar which was eh and nothing that i ordered came with what the menu said it did. Bars also didnt know their own cocktail menus. This resort could be amazing, but it is lacking im many areas uncluding the service. There were maybe 2 or 3 employees that went one step above minimum. I shouldnt feel like a burden for ordering a drink or asking a question, but we did many times. Needless to say we came home with someof the money we brought for tipping and I never do that.

The property was beautiful. We were upgraded to a switch suite on arrival for only an additional $300 total which was a better deal than online. The staff here are overall very friendly. We were given a butler and he was great in helping us throughout our stay. Food impressed me! So many fresh and delicious options. I usually don’t eat at the resort but this location exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend and come back!

The property is new, clean and well kept. The pool area was never crowded. The service was pretty good except for a waitress at the sports bar. She was not friendly and ignored us. The bartender at the La Planta bar was awesome! Our room was nice. Very comfortable bed. Our mini fridge was never restocked. One big complaint is there was no full length mirror. I love the shower and the storage for our clothes and shoes.

My butter darlys was fantastic and the guys from pool bar. Elite lounge was helpful the waitstaff had attitudes the only place the air condition worked was in the rooms and elite lounge and the steak house. Hotel in itself is verified but the stay was 4/10

We first arrived and got our first room where there was blood and toilet paper all over the floor then they move this to another room for an upgraded fee of $200 first night at the restaurant we were told there was no ice so we had hot drinks second night we was at the steakhouse. My husband had ordered the lobster with his steak received dessert and all then waited another 15 minutes on top of the 45 minutes. They told us that the lobster would take to Cook. Ask the waiter if the lobster was coming and he acted like he forgot and he apologize the third night we arrived at the Japanese restaurant they had our reservations for 830 told us to sit by the bar. We sat by the bar until 930. I got up went to the receptionist desk and was like what’s going on. Took her another 20 minutes to find out she actually called one of the waitress over to figure it out and then one of the guys had sadness if I wouldn’t have got up and asked we would’ve been skipped. They had a Spanish group of four girls That also got skipped that did not get to eat dinner that night every time I ask for cokes to be refilled in the room it has to be three or four times of me calling or asking them before I’d get something I asked for a coat for breakfast. One girl had told me no so I got up and went and asked another one and she brought it right away. Just pure laziness here.

Me and my husband stayed at this hotel for a week. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the food and drinks are really good. Superior to all the other All inclusive we had stayed not only in DR. The only thing we didn't like is the staff. They are not rude but you have to be constantly asking for service. They can walk by your table and notice you need a drink for example, and they won't take the initiative of offering you something until you ask. Then they will take forever get it. I had to get up and get my own drinks all the time, and I wouldn't mind if i notice they were super busy or were under staff but there were LOTS of waitresses just standing there.
