Buffet was closed for dinner 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed. And breakfast buffet was the same everyday. Chair was broken at one of the resturants and my wife fell luckly no major injuires. Was told we will have a hibachi table at one of the restaurants ended up being normal. Also we were the first table at the resturanr and got our food last.In room dining options are few. Wouldnt recommended going here with a family or a little one as the adults only area/pool is massive comapred to kids and family pools. Looks wise resort is nice but lacking in all other areas wouldnt recommend going for the price you pay

I can tell that this hotel/resort is understaffed given how not all their restaurants are open daily and I see the same workers in different restaurants. Restaurants also refused to give me walk-in option 1 hour before closing because they said they're "full for the night" so I had to spend a night starving myself. The beach staff did not assist me with opening a beach umbrella when I explicitly asked for help since I did not figure it out myself. I've had numerous instances where I had to follow up on my food after waiting > 20min. in restaurants because they forgot to check on my food status. I can see that staff prioritize families with children as I came with just me and my fiancée. It's also surprising how empty it feels when everything is closed by 9/10pm. Compared to my stay at another hotel/resort on the Cancún hotel zone, this one was very underwhelming. I was only here for a wedding site visit, but I can confirm that I will not be staying here for my wedding or next vacation in general.

Came to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Kids were everywhere. Which wasn’t a major problem, but unexpected. The food was great at the pool, but the service was absolute trash. Staff don’t greet you — it’s like they hate to be there. The service is inconsistent. For an all inclusive resort and a promise to do something special for my wife when we got to the room only to not follow through for any of the days we were there, and met with irritation when I asked pretty much sums up my experience. Honestly, when we drove in, there was barely any security..I overlooked that, but it was truly trash. The. The hibachi…abysmal. Overcooked, cringe, and unappetizing. Breakfast was okay. Twiggy’s has good food. The spa was nice! But again, service and hospitality is spotty. I recommend they connect with The Handy consultant to reform their overall approach. I’ve seen them so amazing work with the worst places. Truly, I’ll NEVER be back and will NEVER recommend them.

All of the above!!! While the hotel buildings, layout and rooms were very nice yet many of us had reservations such as - check in took around one hour -on the cleanliness ( there was still sand in the room after they cleaned it) , - some staff were not very welcoming or friendly, - service (room service took around half an hour for 2 cups of American coffee), - thought it was an all inclusive hotel yet we had hard time in “booking” in restaurants to eat noting that kitchens closed around 10! In general, I consider that it was way over priced for the service provided!

Amazing property, very friendly staff that went above and beyond. Decent to really good food, breathtaking spa, abundant amenities, and beautiful cozy room. Only downside, drinks can be watered down, but it’s all inclusive and that’s expected. I would give this place 12 out of 10. Go there now before it becomes extremely popular and expensive because it’s a relatively newer property.

Room : not family-friendly. The glass divider between the bathroom and the bedroom is completely see through, even when pulling down the lucid shade. Not family friendly and offers zero privacy. Very inconvenient when you have children. Restaurants - they don’t offer kids menus. Each place had 2 options so my daughter ate the same thing every day. Also, the kids bar, Baraccuda, was closed during our stay Kids club - we couldn’t participate because every time we went to visit, it was closed. Weird to me that that they would be closed from 11am-2pm. Inconvenient. Beach - there was a ton of poop along the entire beach. I have video and photos to prove it. It’s the resort’s responsibility to clean it. Disgusting and it ruined our trip. I will not be returning to this resort.

Overall our stay was very relaxing and just the refresh we needed. This was a family vacation with my husband and my 3 1/2 year old son. My son was too young for kids club and travel with a toddler can be challenging but the amenities, restaurants and services made it the most relaxing trip we’ve had in years. Pools and beach were great and loved that we got drinks service on the beach and food/drinks service at the pool. The pools are intricate with lots of entertainment and space for kids of all ages and swimming levels. The service was good, but be sure to tip make sure your service maintains good. We forgot to pull some cash out for tips and noticed a decline in service, then after we pulled out cash and tipped service increased. Everyone raved about the food, I’d probably give it a 7 out of 10 very solid for an all inclusive but I had hoped it would be a little better based on reviews. Whilst I found the Mediterranean, the steak house and the special event food amazing I found breakfast okay and the Mexican very disappointing. Breakfast and at the market has tons of options some are better than others, definitely options for everyone. Room service is good, very convenient and helpful with the a toddlers unpredictability. Loved the juice bar for smoothies! Rooms were very clean and great space, we had an ocean view and it was lovely!! Our balcony was big! The only con was sound proofing was not the best. Could hear people running in the halls and room above moving.

Beautiful hotel obviously new BUT foods are not available all time specially after 10 PM. You can find the food if you find the food it taste very good but literally very bad. Customer service the people at the reception. They’re not helpful at all Bar more problem with keep up inventories in place try to get drinks LSA out of stock. You have to wait for 15 minutes then you wait for two hours. No drinks was bad experience with service such a big problem with beautiful hotel but bad management.

I am so disappointed in SLS. I went with very high expectations that unfortunately were not met. The service was so bad. We were served with frowns . No smiles . No Greetings. We had to ask 3-4 times just for a cup of coffee in the morning . Even after tipping generously we were treated poorly. The only shout out I have to give is for Danny at adult pool and Jorge at the rooftop bar! These 2 were amazing . The rest of the staff needs to learn how to be nice to people that pay so much . There were no activities during the day. Way too many kids running around. There is no adult side to the hotel so we’re we’re awakened every night to crying babies and kids running around on the top floor. Honestly I have been to way nicer resorts for less the money . Management needs to step up !!!!!
