The house is located in the lower part of Puntagorda, a charming rural municipality in the northwest of La Palma, renowned for its tranquility, open landscapes, and strong connection to tradition.







Puntagorda preserves a rich agricultural and livestock heritage, reflected in its architecture and the ethnographic elements that continue to shape the surroundings and traditional homes. Notable examples include windmills, historically used to grind grain—once a staple of the island’s diet—as well as haylofts, traditionally used for storing farming tools and sheltering animals. The area is also home to wine cellars and presses, highlighting its long-standing viticultural tradition.







Cisterns, designed to collect and store rainwater, and traditional threshing floors, where wheat was processed, further define the landscape. Together, these elements create an authentic rural setting steeped in history.
