Ted Williams' onetime home turned out to be the perfect place for our little family reunion, with a variety of seating and sleeping arrangements indoors and expansive grounds outside. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen roomy and well stocked. Not everybody in our party cared about all the Wiliams-related artwork and memorabilia, but I was thrilled to be amongst it all -- and some of it is quite impressive. The location is secluded -- but so is practically everything in this part of Vermont, so the need to travel some distance for groceries, restaurants, etc. is a given. It's such a lovely area, you won't mind the drives. Anytime I'm bringing a large group of people to southeastern Vermont, I'll hope to book this house again.
