The property is so gorgeous. Private and spacious, beautiful upgrades and activities! A very beautiful mix of many kinds of rescue birds in an enclosure at the beginning of the property, with a cheeky little wild chicken that hangs out right in front. The host is responsive and very kind. We stayed here to be close to our wedding venue and the kitty outside ended up being my best friend and emotional support animal for wedding jitters! We'd definitely stay here again if we needed a comfy spot in the area.

Oasis in town

My family just loved the property! There was so much to keep my kids busy outside and inside! And it was even more beautiful in person than the pictures showed! I especially liked how private it felt. We were minutes from any store, but we felt like we were in the country. We would definitely stay here again.

Family wedding

This is a wonderful properly and was located in a great location. The host was very flexible and communicated quickly. The photos don't show the updated they are making, it will be an amazing properly when it is done. Suggestions - is to advise or state that there are farm animals (peacocks, rabbits, geese, by the pond, rosters, cats) on the adjacent that roam the properly. While this did not truly bother us it would have just been nice to be aware of prior too. Another suggestion is to have some sort of shovel to scoop the wild goose poop off the front part of the properly. Would recommend this properly and the host.

Great gathering for family

House was in a great location, inside was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the nature on the property. Only suggestion would be to have more serving bowls in the kitchen. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and we had a family BBQ one evening and we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and fire pit. We would stay here again.

A private getaway just outside the city!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this privately set property. We enjoyed being close to all the city amenities just a short car ride down the road while still feeling secluded on the property. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house is open on the main level while still giving separation for kids to play and be out of the way of the adults. The outside of the house was inviting with multiple places to sit and gather while enjoying the scenery.

Interesting spot

Large property with interesting outside spots. Back firepit, front sitting looking out to the pond, and a covered outdoor area with a gas fire. Lots of modern cons. It was lacking screens on some windows but owner put them in for the stay...it was warm out and we needed the vening breeze. It is a little close to the street and there is road noise. Lots of room but could have used more seating in the living room where the tv is. Thanks for the stay.

Wonderful place to stay!

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property! The host is wonderful and quick to reply! The house is very clean, and well stocked! Would definitely stay here again. Close to shopping and anything you may want to do! Yet very private.

Adult Fairy Garden

The Private Lake House is kind of like an adult fairy garden! The grounds are amazing. There is the private lake full of lily pads, trails, turkeys, peacocks, chickens, a rooster, and a long haired bunny. There is a fire pit, kayaks, swings, grills, and twinkle lights. The house is beautiful with an open concept kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs! There are three king beds and one queen bed. The grandkids loved exploring every inch of this magical place!

Bridal Party Stay

Booked for the bride and her bridesmaids. The property was super private and the bathroom mirrors were great for wedding day preparation. Selected due to allowed events which changed after booking but host was accommodating when I explained the situation. The entry door was a bit tricky to work and I didn’t find clear instructions for check out. The interior doors have keyed locks but no key to open them and two of the girls were accidentally locked out of their bedroom with everything inside including their car keys and bridesmaid dresses. I could not reach the property owner and we ended up having to call and pay for a locksmith. (Host did eventually respond a few hours later after everyone was asleep) Communication was off both ways. He didn’t respond as quickly as we needed but to be fair, I also was delayed in responding to his concerns and questions due to the busy wedding day. I was told the beds were super comfortable and roomy. The kitchen utensils were dated but a good well stocked selection. Definitely some major pluses with this property and flexibility was much appreciated. Would suggest they replace the front door lock and leave a key to the interior doors for the guests.

Tranquil Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the home layout was terrific for our family reunion. The host was very attentive and responsive to any of our needs. The extra bonus was the property had a huge pond/lake which provided such tranquility and allowed my brother and wife (who bird watch around the world) an opportunity to take pictures of birds. On site there was a large pen with chickens, peacocks, a turkey and various beautiful birds which we really enjoyed watching. There was a game room amply supplied with games which we didn’t have the time to enjoy. It was a great stay!

Little Lake Oasis

Awesome little lake oasis near many amenities. But no need to really venture out when there's a little lake and kayaks. Outdoor area for fire and smores. Little bit of wildlife and the kids loved the bird foul enclosure with turkeys, chickens, peacocks, and more. Not a huge deal for us, but there are cameras all over the property. This was not mentioned in the ad but may be an issue for some. Could also use a few more kitchen utensils. But overall was a great place with plenty of room to roam.

PERFECT FOR OUR JOB LOCATION

AS A SMALL BUSINESS WE HAVE OUR EMPLOYEES TRAVEL FOR INSTALLATIONS. THE OWNER WAS AWESOME TO WORK WITH AND GREAT WITH COMMUNICATION IN REAL TIME. DEFINATELY WILL STAY AGAIN IF AVAILABLE SLOT FOR OUR NEXT SCHEDULED WORK WEEK IN THAT LOCATION ! OUR EMPLOTEES SAID IT WAS A GREAT GET AWAY AND WAY BETTER THAN BEING IN A HOTEL.
