Hotel Du Nord was not a great stay. The hotel itself is not accessible at all- we had a room on the basement floor and had to carry our large luggage down the stairs (there is no elevator). The room was not clean, and the breakfast was okay. The area is also very quiet and not friendly. On the bright side, every staff I interacted with was extremely kind and helpful! The hotel itself leaves much to be desired.

Was a nice decent stay for the price tag. We just spent a night here but no cons about it. The price tag inclusive of parking is a good deal. Stove and stuff seems old but only if you prefer using. Overall a great budget option for a short stay.

Everything was very good except the bed was like a rock to sleep on. Requêtes à quern when I did réservations, but we ended up with a double, also bathroom was very Small. But overall we managed the weekend there.

Staff was very friendly and all were very helpful. Breakfast was good but no hot items. Parking was very convenient. Our deluxe double queen bed suite was fully equipped and the highlight of the stay. Very comfortable beds, comfortable seating for TV, a nice dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The pool is very nice size too. The hotel is not walking distance to the old city - usually takes 10-12 mins to reach the upper part of the city and 15 minutes if approaching the lower part next to the main Museum. However there are many supermarkets within a couple of mins of drive. It's also convenient to drive to other non old city attractions from here like the falls, road to Tadoussac etc.
