We stayed at this hotel 7 years ago and had an outstanding experience. We decided to book the same room type (king with panoramic view overlooking the old city) for 4 nights. We were very disappointed in many aspects of our four night stay. Room service quality was lacking and not consistent; glassware was not refreshed daily, floors were not dusted and always felt dirty, towel service was intermittent, bed was not tidied daily. Reception area and elevator area had an awful odor and was very run down and dirty. The floors with rooms had odors from the pool area wafting throughout. I feels like this hotel has become more of a family/team sport stay hotel than the elegant place it was in the past.

Great location, less than a 10 minute walk to Old Quebec. The staff were always willing to help and at times went out of their way. The hotel has a beautiful atrium and pool area. We found the room spacious and had a great view of the city. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and maybe next time book a room with the view overlooking the pool area.

Our bed was made but in the 3 day stay the floors were not cleaned or swept or our gasses cleaned. Since it is winter they were marked with salt stains and small stones from the outside.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is very unique. The facility is older but is well kept up. The large screen with under sea footage fits the room and theme very nicely. There is care and effort to make this hotel stand out from the others.
