I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking lake view from the room—absolutely stunning and a true retreat for the senses. The rooms themselves were comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. However, the early morning noise from the trash collection slightly disrupted the tranquility. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a mention. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. The meals were well-prepared and flavorful, making dining at the hotel a memorable experience. Despite the minor noise issue, I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing views, comfort, excellent dining, and service. It’s a great choice for a rejuvenating getaway.

Comfortable. Really well located to everything in town. Nice view. Valet parking was easy. Room was clean. Hallways were not so clean. Lobby by elevator had a consistent unusual odor but we only walked through. Restaurant brunch was fine. Friendly and accommodating staff. We would definitely stay there again.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is in an excellent location of Queenstown. The local RealNZ booking service for cruises or other programs is just across the street, so as many great restaurants, all easy access within walking distance. The hotel manager was very attentive. He listened to our dissatisfaction with the room after the first night and offered us a room in better condition as soon as it was available. We felt grateful for the hotel service.

The hotel was good. Location is the best aspect. You are right in the downtown area. The shower had issues staying at any water temperature. The room AC did not work properly. The laundry and gym facilities were not adequate if you’re looking for that during your stay. The staff was all very friendly.

Great Location

Hotel was clean, staff, friendly, and the location was awesome for Queenstown. Just out the door and you’re pretty much in the hub of shopping/restaurants. Only negative is that we were charged service fee for using a credit card. 3% if you use American Express!
