The apartment is a 5-10 minute downhill walk to the center of Queenstown. Please note that the hill on the way back up is very steep. A Taxi or Uber would be around $10 from town (depending on demand)

The bus stop is 7 minutes away and you can purchase a GO card for $5 on arrival and your bus fare is $2 per trip. If you do have a car then we have garage for you to use.
Most activities in Queenstown will have transport included to activities outside the city centre.

The house is on a very steep hill so driving up is an experience. But as a reward, the view is stunning!The house is very cozy, clean and comfortable. Easy to find shops, just above the town centre, close to local attractions. Would book again.

Great place for a week away with a great view

Great place! Nice common area and kitchen with bedrooms and bathrooms up to scratch. Walking up the hill is a killer but worth it for the view. Only minor complaints: no central heating, only in bedrooms (warm enough for us in August but might be annoying in colder weather) and the single beds are a bit springy.

This place offers an absolutely stunning panoramic view of Lake Wakatipu and the Queenstown CBD. Its location is fantastic for exploring—it’s only a 10-minute downhill walk to get into the heart of downtown. Inside, the house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. ​However, there are a few things to keep in mind regarding the terrain. Since the house is perched on a hill, the walk back up is quite a workout due to the steep incline. Also, if you are driving an SUV or an MPV, be aware that the driveway is very steep and narrow. Maneuvering a larger vehicle into the garage can be quite a challenge. ​Overall, a great stay if you don't mind a bit of a hike for those incredible views!"
