Staff helpful, room was ok but decor a bit tired. Lovely view from our balcony of the lake. Very clean overall. We were in room 31 and struggled to unlock the door on our return from day out and the bedside light on my side didn’t work. We reported both to reception.

Walking distance to downtown Queenstown. Rooms were perfect for resting at night. Beds were comfortable and ensuite was clean. Rooms were serviced daily. Highly recommended

While the room itself looked nice, overall the experience was poor. There is very little soundproofing throughout the property, so a door closing sounded like it was slamming next to your bed. I doubt this was the intent of other guests! It was loud until about 1am, which was not ideal, and at one point an alarm started going off, which the property manager didn't realise. It was unclesr what the alarm was, so some guests evacuated in the rain thinking it was a fire alarm, and I had to call the duty manager to alert him to the alarm and request some help. The bed was uncomfortable, though it was clean and well presented. Ultimately, this is the experience and service I would have expected at a second rate hostel, so would not have minded had the cost reflected that, but at $300 for the night I think I was probably paying about $250 too much.

Pros: 1. Staffs are friendly Cons: 1. Rooms are very dated. 2. Not double glazed 3. Very loud if the room overlooks the road. Road noise will make it difficult to sleep. 4. Not worth the price overpriced (~$440/night) for a 2 bedroom apartment 5. Has old appliance. Including cheap utensils.

Good location, not far from the lake and shops and restaurants. The property is older, with some oddly constructed additions. The concrete steps to the upper floor are too steep and not easy to navigate. Some renovations are needed on both the interior and exterior. The employees are pleasant. The rooms are clean and functional, but not modern or attractive.
