Holiday house Rabenstein an der Pielach for 1 - 10 persons with 4 bedrooms - Luxury holiday home
ED Refnr. 2018331
We have built this house entirely to our taste and in accordance with architectural art - and from the very beginning we have thought about our guests: people who are looking for a nourishing time-out. People who want to float in seventh heaven for a while, stand above things and look into the distance. People who want to play football, volleyball or badminton with their children and friends undisturbed and unobserved, or chew a blade of grass and look up at the clouds - on their own lawn, right in front of the house.
Holidays in the middle of nature, "in the country" instead of "in the country". At the same time: perfect comfort, as you would expect in hotels - and above all: in your own four walls. Scandinavian solid wood floors with wide floorboards, underfloor heating, functional wood-burning stoves with viewing windows, Wi-Fi, home cinema with retractable screen (240x160), double bathtub, double shower, Swiss stone pine in the bedroom, a spacious living terrace in addition to several individual terraces, which becomes an extended living and family space in summer, and: Space, space and even more space. The house is built in such a way that you can see the countryside from anywhere: The views from the windows are our most beautiful paintings.
On the upper floor: two master bedrooms, one of which has an integrated bath/shower/WC and balcony. The second - with a box-spring double bed - is located in a suspended cube (our "cloud cuckoo's home"), with soundproofing and a delightful view of the valley.
On the ground floor: 7.77 m room height. A communicative kitchen island block from bulthaup with induction hob, steam cooker, oven and pizza baking stone included. Smoothie blender, juicer, an Italian espresso machine for connoisseurs, wood-burning fireplace with viewing window. A second living room with a stainless steel designer fireplace faces north, yet is flooded with light and cosy, popular on hot summer days or for a game of cards on atmospheric winter afternoons.
On the garden floor: A complete luxury flat for 2 people with its own bathroom/WC, terrace, private access, but also accessible through the main entrance. In the northern part of the garden floor there is a room composition half-sunk into the slope, a living area cleverly furnished by the Viennese architects archiguards, which generously invites different occupancies of up to 4 people in cosy Scandinavian beds. This room is particularly suitable for the youngest members of the group/family, from small children to growing sons and daughters and their friends. High-quality, colourful designer furniture makes this room unique in its cosy atmosphere. The guests in this room share a large bathroom with Rainforest shower and WC.
For those hungry for exercise: you can hike for hours across the surrounding mountain pastures right from the front door of the Phönixberg. The Pielach Valley offers numerous hiking trails, the Ötscher Torgräben World Heritage nature reserve and the romantic Lake Lunz are not far away. There is a gourmet restaurant in the neighbouring village if there is something special to celebrate.
We look forward to being your hosts!
Service
During your stay, the manager of the house or a member of staff will be on call to fulfil any special requests you may have.
Surroundings
We are located in the romantic foothills of the Alps near the Ötscher region, which offers a well-developed ski area in winter and extensive hikes through the wild canyons of the world-famous Ötscher Tormäuer Nature Park in summer. The Pielach is one of the increasingly rare river fishing areas in Europe. In order to maintain the high quality of the fishing waters, licences are strictly limited and early booking is recommended. Directly in the Pielach Valley, which is also known locally as the Dirndl Valley, visitors are recommended to go on day-long hikes from the hotel, not least to see the famous Dirndl fruit, the tasty cornelian cherry, up close.
Arrival
We are located at the end of a 4 km long private forest road, which is closed to public traffic and is cleared in winter. Use of the Alm road is at your own risk. Parking is free for guests. There is a stop for the private railway "Mariazellerbahn" at the bottom of the valley. If required, we are happy to organise a shuttle for our guests. If you want to get to the Alm on foot, you will need about an hour from the railway stop without luggage.
