I truly appreciate the kindness and understanding of the staff, I had already prepaid for my stay and inclement weather was approaching so I made the decision to cut my stay short. I spoke with one of the guest service agents and she helped with getting a refund for the days I wouldn't be staying. The property is beautiful and i definitely will be returning during the summer.

This was truly the worst experience. I’m an IHG member and I tried to step out of my comfort zone and try this hotel. Horrible decision. I checked in, went to the room, smelled AWFUL. Like straight sewer. I went down to the front desk, myself and 2 other guests were waiting for over 15 minutes for the front desk employee to show up. She switched my room on the other side of the building, SAME AWFUL SMELL. I went down and asked her if there’s some kind of sewage issue and she said a couple other guests complained but she’s hoping it “just goes away”. I was tired and not trying to keep switching rooms so I sat in the horrible smell all night long. Near the toilet was the worst. Went to take a shower, the body wash was completely empty. I was so angry. Then this morning I had just checked out. Went to the car and dropped my belongings and realized I didn’t have my car keys and I left them in the room on the dresser. I ran back in and asked the front desk attendant if I could get back in my room to grab my key. She refused to let me back in without my ID which was allllll the way in the parking garage even though she just seen me check out. She could have even offered to just go in and grab the key for me but she made me walk back out to my car to get my ID. I’m just baffled that I spent almost $200 on a room to experience all of this. I am not the type to complain but this was a horrible experience and I will never go back to or recommend a Hilton hotel.

Room was clean and beds comfortable, that was best part. Dim lighting throughout, no communication of late breakfast start on Saturdays, late to open and food not ready when it did open. Pastries and bagels stale. Had a private party in “restaurant” the night before that is not really a restaurant. No room service available from the non-restaurant (despite a banner showing a delicious looking pizza by the entrance of “restaurant”) Ended up eating at supper club next door which was fine but pretty fancy and pricey for a meal with a 13 year old. Overall was ok, kid enjoyed the pool, and the view is nice. Not up to snuff with other Doubletrees I’ve stayed at.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I was disappointed in my stay. The view was nice and staff was friendly but that is about it. My linens had a spot, I asked for new linens and had to make my own bed. Then the fridge, microwave, and light didn’t work. I didn’t have time to have them come fix, so I used a family member’s who stayed in a different room. I dropped my ring and when I went to pick up found someone else’s sock and some type of nut that was not mine. They didn’t even lift the bed to clean. There was also a bunch of coffee that seemed like it slipped between the glass so they just needed to lift it to clean. In our other party’s room they found a kid’s shoe. Mind you the bed has a block so it wasn’t deep where they couldn’t see, they didn’t even lift to check. We also didn’t get our welcome cookie which is obviously not a big deal but something my family and I joked about when we saw the car outside advertising it. I don’t know why it is labeled a 4 star, it is maybe a 3 star. The breakfast was good and pool seemed nice, though we didn’t have time to utilize. Can’t get over the lack of cleanliness though.
