The house was very clean and relatively close to the Plitvica Jezera National Park. There were also restaurants, grocery store and bakery near by. We had no problem checking in and the host gave us really good information on when to go and which trails to take. The room was generous and had a small kitchenette which was perfect for us. It was nice to be able to sit out on our balcony to look at the lovely pastoral setting.

Great property. Very clean. Excellent hosts who offered helpful advice as well as delicious fresh apples from the trees in their yard. The only complaint is that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable so none of us slept well. (We had rented two different rooms, one for my husband and me and another for our friends.)

Clean. Kind host. Quite area. I felt like I was staying at my relative's home in Croatia. About 10 mins away from the Plitvice park. Everything was great but Wifi was weak.

Family getaway

Spacious apartment just minutes from Entrance 1. Walking distance to a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The hostess was very knowledgeable about the water levels and areas of the park that is open/closed for weather.

Nice stay to visit the park

Guesthouse is easy to find and about 15 minute drive to the park and about the same to Rastoke. Owners were waiting for me and check-in was fast. Space was large with a small kitchen and balcony. Kitchen had everything you need. Radiator heat in the room worked great. There was a basket of pamphlets in the room from local attractions in multiple languages. No housekeeping services - just info, I was fine with that. The towels are dried on a line and are stiff, but very absorbent. There are 15-20 stairs to get to the room. They do not accept credit cards in the off season - must have Kuna or Euro. I paid with a combination. I interacted with 2 ladies and both were friendly, helpful and spoke great English.

Nice location

This guesthouse is in a nice location. It's about a ten minute drive to entrance 2 of the Plitvice Park, fifteen minutes to Rastoke village and about an hour and a half drive to the Bear Refuge. The room was spacious and clean, the kitchen had the basics. No toiletries in the bathroom at all, and the room was not serviced during our stay. The check in process was very rushed. Overall OK.

Clean, comfortable apartment with nice balcony

We were welcomed by the owner's daughter who helped us to find a restaurant for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable, and we spent a pleasant hour admiring the view from the balcony as the sun set. Bed was comfortable, shower worked well and we were all set up for a long day in the National Park. Perfect! One warning though - Our Expedia booking said we needed to pay at the hotel and gave a figure in Euros. In reality we had to pay in cash in Croatian Kuna. We had to take a trip to a nearby cashpoint to do this; no great problem but we were a little surprised!

Lovely stay at Rubcic Guesthouse

We stayed for a week and had a lovely stay. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and you are supplied with sufficient linen and household items to have no troubles. The only little thing was the cooker having only 2 pits, but it is manageable if you don't want to cook complicated meals. The owners are very kind and helpful with tips and letting us try some of the local homemade traditional plum drink and homegrown fruit.

Cute, quiet guesthouse close to Plitvice Lakes.

Wifi was a bit slow at times but really pretty scenery and very clean. Would Recommend to friends and family.

Terrible experience

I booked this apartment about 2 months prior to my stay but I was not able to stay due to overbooking!! They guided us another apartment but everything (facility, cleanness) was horrible. It really ruined our stay in Plitvice. I would never recommend this apartment.

Guesthouse close to Plitvicka jezera

Easy access on the road to Plitvicka jezera - an exceptionally beautiful nature spot. Opportunity to prepare your own meal in a modestly equipped kitchen or eat at a nearby restaurant. Overall a restful place after a day of hiking. The host speaks English.

Clean hotel next to main road. Basic but comfortable rooms, helpfull staff. I recommended if you need to stay ne nigth i your visit to Plitvice National Park or Barac Caves

Quiet, comfortable nature

We are a family of five. The apartment was perfect for a quiet getaway. Our hosts were extremely kind and generous. They offered advice and even shared some food and drink with us. We extended our stay so we could take advantage of our time here.
