Overall - this is a very nice townhome and a great location ! Very convenient to downtown Raleigh. If you like to walk - take Glenwood Ave opposite of downtown and you will see some pretty Raleigh suburbia! Raleigh is very lively Fri and Sat nights so bring your noice/sound machine !
Everything was great with the property! Close to all of the activity and NCSU so you can walk to everything! Since it is in an urban neighborhood you should expect some noise from cars and pedestrians, especially on weekends. This did not bother us at all - just added to the experience!
We loved our stay at this property. We were in town to check out areas for a possible move to NC.
Despite a small snafu at check in (wrong code given and slow communication) EVERYTHING else was seamless and perfect for our stay. The property was VERY clean and stocked with enough essentials for cooking some of our meals. Like other reviews mentioned, there is a lot of noise from the street and train but we enjoyed it (very different to our life in the suburbs). Our toddler absolutely LOVED the train! The location allowed us to walk to Publix, Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom and our new favorite, Mo Joeâs! You could easily walk to downtown spots too, just not happening with our 2 year old. :)
This property is so centrally located, we got to all our places with such ease - NC State, Duke, Cary, Holly Springs, Durham, Wake Forest, Apex AND all the places downtown.
We also went to a few spots our host recommended (Marbles Children Museum and some breakfast spots) and he was spot on!
Overall, highly recommend this property!
Building is great. Amenities are a little lacking. Error of omission for the active railroad line less than 50 feet from the windows. Dryer and dishwasher were balky. Make sure theyâre running 10 minutes after you start them. All glasses are plastic and no wineglasses.
Our family stayed here for Thanksgiving and NC State football. The home is decorated nicely and fit our needs. Location is great. Walk to downtown. Noisy at night but not awful. Comfy beds. The home could have been cleaned better. Had to wipe down master bath and change the sheets. Towels that were left were still damp from dryer and wet ones left in washer. All plates silverware and cooking pots were dirty in the cabinets and had to be washed before use. Outside trashcan was missing and neighbor reported us to owner before we could address it. Owner was not very quick to respond to concerns. Just said thank you for letting me know. No apologies. Overall home and location great. Cleanliness and response not so much.
My wife, son and I were in Raleigh for a soccer tournament and this was the first time we've ever been there. This townhome was perfect for us! It is exactly as it is in the pictures and it was incredibly welcoming as it was clean, in order, and just immaculate. We all felt very at home here and would have enjoyed a longer stay for sure. The location is literally a block from a grocery store and a block or two away from lots of bars and restaurants. One would think it would be loud given the location and proximity to NC State, but we were there over a weekend and had no issues sleeping or with any noise at all. It's so convenient to get on and off a main road and everything is in walking distance. We felt very safe walking at night and just really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others!
The house was actually a lot bigger than we thought it would be based on the photos! Great layout and comfortable space. The location was perfect for us during our stay in Raleigh. Check in and check out were easy.
We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Very convenient
location with groceries, restaurants, bars, etc within walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again if we are back in Raleigh!!
Townhouse was very comfortable. Host was communicative & helpful. We were moving our daughter into a new apartment and all her things were in our van. It was great to have a garage to keep everything safe. We walked to restaurants & grocery store. Nearby train didnât bother us but people walking the tracks late night did.
If youâre visiting Raleigh and wanting to take in all the downtown excitement, this is the place to stay! And itâs a quick drive to RDU airport! Downside of the location is loud traffic and the train that rides by but theyâve offered sound machines in the bedrooms to help with these noises! The home was well set up and functional for our family to stay, cook and hang out. We liked the bedrooms both having en-suite bathrooms and full closets to store all of our things during the week long stay. My biggest complaint is the comfort of the beds, the king being the least comfortable. If this were remedied, Iâd only ever stay here when visiting Raleigh!
Very nice condo with lots of space for the four of us. The attached garage was a great bonus. The only downside is crazy loud cars that drive the street all hours of the night and the nearby train.
Really enjoyed this VRBO-could use updated mattresses and if you are a light sleeper the cars on the main road can get disruptive but all in all we loved the location, we walked everywhere and would definitely stay again.
