Beautiful view! Even during the midnight sun, this was a wonderful place to stay. Close to an interesting plane crash site and a gorgeous waterfall, the dome was a perfect countryside getaway.
The directions to the property were quite bad. When using our carâs GPS we discovered that the last 15 mins of the drive has a permanently blocked road and we had to take several dirt backroads to get there.
Once we finally got there the power went out at midnight. We followed the instructions to get the power to turn back on and it was still out. Light was still coming from the house. It wasnât a power outage but rather it seemed like the owner just shut the power off to our tent. The only way to communicate with the owner was via email. Spent 3 hours freezing in the tent. Finally got to sleep and then the lights and power came back on at 3 in the morning. No email was sent in response. No apology offered for the power being turned off.
Then every morning we were woken up around 7 to construction noises. Incredibly overpriced and terribly managed.
The dome is a beautiful, unique accommodation. Inside was very warm with an abundance of blankets and a very comfortable bed. The outdoor shower was an interesting experience. We could hear atvs driving up and down the road in the afternoon, but the owner can't control that. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
