Everything was great, noticed a few of the chairs need the legs tightened up - I tried to hand tighten a few, but that didn't work much (photos attached). We were unsure where to put our garbage, so we bagged it all and left it on the back patio to avoid any smells, etc. Great property, fun location, easy to get to.

Marci was a thoughtful and caring host and this loft was so peaceful and relaxing to be in. My friend and I were in town for a high-energy conference and this location, the amenities, and the ambiance were everything we needed to keep our energy up. The rooms and bathrooms are so spacious and well-fitted; everything we needed was on site and accessible.

We loved the accommodations - comfy, roomy, & clean!! We felt right at home in this well-appointed loft. Everything you need is here. The loft is conveniently located for walkability to the Square, shopping & restaurants (and so many to choose from). The kitchen is well outfitted if you choose to stay in. Loved the deck! The washer & dryer is a bonus for longer stays. Centrally located for sightseeing, too. We would definitely recommend this rental & would come back again.

The place was fabulous! It had all the amenities that you want when you’re away from home and at a luxurious level too. The decor was hip AND comfortable. Leather couches invited you to snuggle in and reflect on your day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were at opposite ends of the loft which is so nice for privacy as well. There’s also a very clever women’s clothing store right next door, it’s called Vanbachs. Its curated ensembles have plowed through the latest fashion trends, making it an experience that is especially enjoyable and fun.

WOW! This gets 5-stars all around. Location is great - near just about everything, the property was not only neat and clean, but spacious and recently updated. Even though were were on Main Street our apartment was quiet - no street noise. Getting in-and-out was simple and enjoyed prompt replies from our host. If you're coming to Rapid City, this is the place to stay!!!

Good except stairs to unit could be an issue for some.2nd bedroom & bath was not what I expected. No USB ports, no extra electrical outlets, no real nightstands near bed, no suitcase stand, no surface space.There was a closet but not conducive to our stay. The bathroom was very small. The primary suite on the other hand, was huge.Kitchen & Great room was comfortable except it only had 3 stools at the island, 1 of which the seat bottom was broken. There was no dining table, so we needed to rearrange great-room furniture to play a game.The outdoor deck was nice, unfortunately no view and had to clean the area due to bird droppings....

Fantastic property, very clean and great location! We appreciated the “extras” of toiletries, hair dryer, coffee, reusable ice packs for cooler, etc. The host was very fast to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend and stay again.

A sure bet!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property-only a different unit. This one was larger and roomier. We’d planned on bringing a friend; but that didn’t happen, so we never used the second bedroom. We can say the master bedroom was spacious and the king bed very comfortable. The landlady is pleasant and easy to work with if there’s a question or issue. The location is perfect for walking downtown. The only drawback is dragging luggage up the stairs!

Great place to stay in Rapid

We totally enjoyed our stay at the loft. It was stylish, clean, comfy, and quiet. A perfect place for 2 couples with plenty of privacy with the bedrooms on opposite ends of the loft. We dined and shopped in Rapid and also explored the Black Hills during our stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Location

This was our second stay at the hay camp loft which is always clean and inviting! This trip we used the back deck and really enjoyed that it is secluded from the downtown side of the building. Great place to wake up and enjoy or wind down in the evening.Communication with Marci is prompt.We love the location to everything in Rapid City and easy access to the Black Hills.

Hay Comp Loft was AMAZING!! The layout of the Loft was very comfortable for 2 couples. The location was perfect, being close to all the action downtown. And Marci was a very gracious host. She met us while we were taking our things up to the loft and wanted to make sure if we needed anything, to let her know! The only thing I could suggest for the Lost, is having a full-length mirror in each bedroom. Wonderful time and we will be booking again! Crystal VanDerWerff

Beautiful

Last minute trip to visit family. The HayCamp Loft was as described and comfortable. Great location so we didn’t have to spend extra time in the car. If the weather had been better we would have loved using the “deck.” Communication was easy and prompt. Thank you for accommodating our late travel plans. Definitely would recommend and hopefully will be returning.
