I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and have had a place of my own that we VRBO out and I would rate this five except for how they work with clientele. We had a situation where a table fell off of the lamp( because they have screw on tables ) when setting a cell phone on it, and the table on it broke the base of the lamp. Though I communicated with them right away, they have on their description they know accidents happen but my rating is low because as I communicated this to them right away -that I actually thought it was broke from previous guest or it had to have broke when the table fell off the lamp. An adult and teenage child were in there( of another group that was staying with up ) , and the dad watched this happen , at no fault of the Childs not knowing that the table top was loose. I communicated it with the owner, waited on responses, asked them to call but only communicated with me through messages, that this situation was an accident and had it been another guest the same thing would have happened just from setting the phone on it. So when they say they understand accidents on listing , yet they dont, as I have to pay 110 bucks for a lamp that was a completely unavoidable to us or next guest unknowingly.The neighborhood was great, our kids respected the house, but the communication was poor and they didnt work with us on the lamp . Had they wanted to split the charge even though it was an unavoidable circumstance I would have been fine with this.
