Only complaint is there were people (not sure if it were guests or staff) hanging around the lobby and front door area, Sometimes I felt uncomfortable walking in & out.
Not for families. Hotel entrance had a "welcoming committee " of low income residents watching everyone coming in. Noisy residents both late at night and early morning. Will not be booking Motel 6 again.
I checked in at about 6:30 pm. Our room smelled like pot! I went back down to the desk and was told they were sold out. And nothing else nearby was available. Front desk did come up and spray air fresher. Asked about the towels hanging on the door knob across the hall and was told they are for the women who lives there. They drop them off for her to get when she wantsâŠlast I knew this was a motel, not an apartment building. Yuck
This is a homeless shelter! Literally. Families, dogs, people hanging out in the lobby. I asked for an extra towel and was told I had to turn in one towel to get a new towel. I had to borrow the hair dryer from the front desk. Smelled like cigarettes and food cooking. Cigarette burns in the room even though we picked a non-smoking room.
For what the hotel lacks the staff makes up for it 100%. This is the perfect no frills hotel stay. Prices are very fair and the staff went above and beyond for everything we needed.
Hall way walking to the room smelled of decomposition. something either in the walls or in the vents was rotting away. the room was obviously covered up with air freshener and by the 2nd night it started. I checked out early because it was so bad.
