Come and enjoy the mountains in this well-equipped, cosy accommodation in Formiguères. This charming 100 m² house can accommodate up to 10 travelers. It features a lovely 65m² living room (with fireplace), open-plan fitted kitchen, four bedrooms, two shower rooms and a 200m² garden.
The accommodation is composed as follows:
First floor:
- A large 40m² living/dining room with sofa, TV, fireplace (wood supplied)
- A small, cosy 25m² living room with sofa and TV
- An open kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob...
- Bedroom 1: double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: a bunk bed (a double bed below and a single bed above)
- Bathroom with shower and vanity unit
- separate toilet
A mezzanine accessible from the small living room:
- a single bed at the top of the stairs
- Master bedroom with double bed (140×190), en-suite shower room, WC
A second mezzanine, accessible from the living room:
- A sleeping area with two 140 cm mattresses
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, tumble dryer.
Exterior:
- A 200 m² private garden to enjoy the sunny days.
The house is ideally located in Formiguères, in a very pleasant environment. Nearby, you'll benefit from all the essential shops, as well as bakeries, butchers, grocery stores...
Activities :
The heart of this authentic mountain village has kept the traces of its past: stone houses, llose roofs, the bell tower wall of the church, narrow streets... Formiguères was long considered the capital of Capcir, and was also the holiday residence of the Kings of Majorca.
In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Catalanes, you'll enjoy the family-friendly ski resort, the listed Camporells site, fresh air, snowshoeing, ski touring, local produce and handicrafts.
Summer: hiking, biking, fishing, Lou ba at Les Angles, wildlife park, Fontrabiouse caves, Matemale lake leisure center, Formiguères swimming pool and spa...
In winter: skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing... The resort, located at an altitude of 1,700m, offers slopes rising to 2,400m with a handsome 700 m vertical drop.
Transportation :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the garages (2 spaces) and park in front of the garages (2 spaces).

As for other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful:
- By car: ideal for exploring the region
- Bus to Mont-Louis, with connections to Perpignan, or Puigcerdà.
Other notes:
- If you have an electric vehicle, a charging station is available in Les Angles (5.5km away).
- If you wish to recharge your vehicle on site (at home), you will be billed for the extra cost of electricity on departure.
- For rentals during the winter months (November to February), the electricity meter will be read on arrival and departure, and any excess over the daily rate will be charged to the tenant.
- The fireplace is functional and wood is provided.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and are not available at extra cost.
- You are responsible for cleaning at the end of your stay.
