A very convenient location which has its advantages and disadvantages!!! various types of deals and transactions right out in the open.. we locked the doors and propped a chair by it.

Sometimes a knock on a door works best

Ok the room was nice and the beds were very, very comfy! My issue came at check-in, which was way more of a nightmare than it should have been. I did the pre-checkin online the night before so I assumed it would be a quick, easy pick up my key and go. And it was that….at first. The gal at the front desk was super personable and we chatted while she got my key ready. When I went up the stairs to the room, the key didn’t work. So I went back down the stairs to the lobby and let them know. They gave me another key. So back up the stairs I went. Again, the key didn’t work. So back down the stairs again. This time they gave me the actual metal key for the door. Back up the stairs I went again, so sure we’d be able to lay down this time. Did I mention that this all started at 11pm after hours at the fair? This time, the front desk guy walked up with me. So I put the key in the lock and open the door. But the deadbolt is engaged and someone is grumbling in the room. So back down the stairs with the fam in tow this time. Then we waited in the lobby for a good 40 minutes while the guy at the front desk plays with the computer rather than walking around to see what rooms are open. The original gal comes back, walks to a room to see if it’s open and we have our key in 5 minutes after she gets back. They guy tells us that they will refund a portion of our stay for the hassle. Haven’t seen the refund come through yet. Hopefully it doesn’t take as long the room did.

when we first walked into the room, there was a very muggy/wet smell. not very clean, there was a lot of hair in the sink and a few bugs because there was a hole in the wall underneath the AC unit. the LOCK was also broken. we requested a different room but they didn’t have any available. We complained and are still trying to get some type of compensation. The guy that was at the front desk that morning seemed very careless and was not very helpful.

Look past the first appearance

My first experience was the entrance, a gravel road between a gas station and an apartment complex. Sketchy neighborhood and right on the highway ....however, INSIDE is exactly what i needed. Clean, comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff

Bugs, our room had so many bugs, the door was not seal well, had to kill some which looked like bedbug or roaches. Beds sheets had hair and pillow was not comfortable. We had to use our own bedding (which we always bring with us) The floor was not mopped, a section of the room smelled like urine(probably from pets). Bathroom was dirty, we didn’t showered and did not use their towels. Staff was great and very nice. But would not stay again.

Good place to stay in Red Bluff

No complaints about this hotel, and I'd stay here again. Well priced and clean. The bed was comfortable, staff were nice, everything in the room worked, and it was conveniently located off the highway with a gas station nearby. I didn't have time to use the pool, but it seemed like people were enjoying it.

We were given keys to a dirty room. The pool is so cloudy that you can’t see the main drain. There is no circulation through the sand filter and the chlorine carboy is empty. Band aids and other debris on the deck. It took several hours for the room to cool down. The Mexican lady at the front desk was friendly and polite, the other lady not so much. Overall a disappointing experience.

Homeless people sleeping next to the property. After a hot day the AC didn’t work in room and no more rooms available. The fridge is maxed out and still barely cold. The staff is very friendly and it is clean. I was offered only 20% off my room rate for the night. I’m honestly sweating so much laying on top of the bed that I can’t sleep and couldn’t get a refund. Very disappointed here

Very good stay for the price. EXCELLENT comfy mattress, huge shower head with great pressure and lots of hot water. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a fridge and a microwave, both clean. I liked the storage bench and coatrack, though if you needed an actual closet there wouldn’t be much space. Dog friendly is a plus. Very convenient, right off of I-5. The outside of the motel looked a little sketch but the inside had been recently remodeled and was very nice!

You get what you pay for, good or bad.

I think I paid under $100 for a night here with my dog. It's old, don't let it fool you, an older building with some new lipstick and rouge. That's fine, but with that age comes STAIRS ONLY, a 2-floor Motel with narrow walkways of years gone by; I got dizzy. The "breakfast" is beyond basic and ended up being a cup of coffee and a small bagel. The pool looked very pretty and clean, and I saw someone swimming; it's loud outside, near the Freeway. Now a little scary/sketch part, driving into the property and passing a bunch a men drinking in a questionable vehicle near a cargo box. Plus, lots of people go in and out of their vehicles depending on how much they smoke, there is no smoking on the property, which is nice. But it kept me looking out at my car to make sure she was good!
