The center of the town itself was pretty much distant from the hotel, but there were dining options within walking distance. The facility is relatively new and well maintained. The pool was small but adequate as was the fitness center. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a good variety of channel options. Perhaps the best surprise was the quality of the breakfast options. In addition to waffles and pancakes they had 3 different kinds of juice (cranberry, apple and orange) from a dispenser, coffee, 2% milk followed by hot oatmeal and 3 choices of dry cereal. In addition they has a plentiful supply of bacon, sausage patties, fried potatoes, PERSONAL SIZE OMELETTES, followed by sweet rolls and cinnamon rolls. I would highly recommend this place as a stopover. The staff was friendly and helpful and if I have the choice in the future I will definitely pull in here.

If you must

I’ve stayed at lots of HI’s & this one wasn’t as great as all my other experiences. Painting walls doesn’t change much. The walls are sooo thin, I could hear everything form my upstairs neighbors and next to me. The bathroom sink was leaking. I tried calling the front desk a few times and kept getting a busy signal. When I went to check out, nobody was at the front desk, so I couldn’t tell them. It seems a trucking company has part of their parking lot, so not much space to park. Either park in the street or across the street at McDonald’s and hope your car doesn’t get towed or broken in to. Not sure why a trucking company has half their lot, but it didn’t make me feel safe knowing I wasn’t parking in the hotel parking lot. Bed wasn’t as comfortable as other HI’s that I’ve stayed at. Breakfast was great. I always enjoy their complimentary meal and coffee. The shower was good too and the complimentary Dove Soap is much appreciated.
