Check in was terrific. I was able to get an ADA compliant room on short notice and this meant the world to me. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room clean while a bit dated. Between a very comfortable bed with nice clean sheets and a wonderful shower I was happy with my room. The neighborhood was quite active with folks bustling to what appeared to be an American style bar and restaurant featuring Rock music on one side of the bay front. The other side a quiet restaurant. Then directly across from property was a very active Polynesian restaurant and bar. I found to be quite nice. It happened to feature someone singing some Frank Sinatra that night. I don’t know if that is a typical feature, but the food, drink and the music made for a fun evening without needing to drive. Altogether a satisfactory evening.
