**NOTE, these are apartments inside the Ballpark Apartment complex in Reno. As such, there is no "front desk" or "concierge", however, staff is very responsive. I see some frustrated comments about staff not caring or being available to assist guests. Each time I called them, they answered and were pleasant and readily available to assist. The check in/initial garage parking is a bit confusing, so this is an area in which they can improve, but otherwise, beautiful place to stay. We went for the weekend and walked 2 blocks to Virginia Street, streets were clean, felt safe (although would not walk alone at night) and it was so nice to come home to a clean stay without the lingering cigarette smoke of the casino's. There is a rooftop area which I believe had a gathering almost until midnight that was a bit loud; could have just been that one weekend we were there. Again, beautiful facility and would absolutely stay again!

This was an interesting stay - it's a Pop-up hotel - the first floor is where the rented apartments are and the upper floors are all residents. As a hotel patron, you have to park on the 6th (top) floor then walk down the ramp to the elevator to get back down to the 1st floor. A bit of a pain but once you figure it out, it's workable. The building is huge with very long hallways. But everything is brand spankin new so it's wonderful. The beds and bedding are super cozy! The kitchen is stocked with most everything you need and if you need anything, they give you a number to call - and they were very responsive when I needed a wine bottle opener. I had gone to Reno for the Family Weekend at UNR and needed a pet-friendly place and space for other family members. So our 2 bedroom Apt. (Big rooms too) was perfect. They have multiple courtyards and a rooftop lounge with great views. Just missing bar service! There is only one courtyard you can bring your dog and they even provide poop bags. In the mailroom/front lobby, there is a WONDERFUL coffee maker that you just push a button and makes all sorts of wonderful drinks including the richest hot chocolate. It also smells wonderful in that room - they are certainly pumping the air with something dreamy. Overall stay was great. It's close enough to walk to the casinos and some great restaurants. Just stay on the main roads as it seems some of the back alleys could be sketchy. Would stay again for the convenience.

Nice but a maze!

The place is nice and was very clean. The downside is parking for Placemakr guests is way on the 6th floor rooftop. The building is much larger and cavernous than I anticipated. It's easy to get turned around navigating all the hallways and doors that have to be opened with an app on your phone.

Nice but needs a better process

Brand new apartment complex so everything is fresh and shiny. The girl who checked us in was an absolute angel for putting up with the absolutely RIDICULOUS check in process. That needs be fixed ASAP. Other Placemakrs are much more hotel like when it comes to check in.

The apartment was a godsend after a long trip. The building and property are brand new with beautiful decor. The location is super convenient with easy walkable access to the city for food and other fun things. It's also right next to the train and bus station. The area felt very safe and clean. The amenities and products ready to use for laundry, shower, and cooking were super thoughtful! The staff were also wonderful and friendly! I'd love to stay again and try out other placemakr properties!

Wonderful!

We stayed with Placemakr Reno. It was a studio apartment in an apartment complex. It was wonderful! Very friendly staff and incredibly clean and new room. It was fully furnished with a couch/sitting area, kitchen, and laundry inside the room. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
