An exceptionally special family holiday

We stayed at the villa in September with three young children and it couldn't have been more fantastic. Everything was taken care of and we needed to ask for nothing. The villa was simply beautiful and owners so happy to help with the smallest of requests. The kids loved the pool area and garden. Wouldn't hesitate returning. Thank you for a beautiful family holiday.

Villa near Rethymno

Nice property and service by the agency. Surprisingly we had to give a cash deposit at the check in (maybe because we were a group of young adults). We had a nice stay at the villa without any further complications. We got our deposit fully back.

We had an awesome time. We were 4 adults and a 2 year old child. The welcome was unbelievable. Villa was very well appointed and supplied with basics when we arrived. Very clean. Owners were very responsive to any questions. My 2 yr old granddaughter was free to run around barefoot in the yard with no issues what so ever. We plan on returning in the near future. In addition, Crete is awesome. It was our first time there as my husband is from Cephalonia and he loved it as we all did.

An 'exceptional' villa and a great holiday!

Villa Vasia is a wonderful and secure base from which to visit all areas of Crete. Set in a quiet location but only 15-20 minutes to the main town of Rethymno. The villa is owned by Manolis and Vasia and managed by Valia at Think Villas. Every attention to detail has been taken to ensure all guests are fully provided for and made to feel very much at home in an exceptional, modern villa. Our experience mirrored others before where the owners and Think Villa were extremely warm, polite and professional and always available to answer our questions and to provide us with local knowledge of amenities (Lidl – 10 minutes away by car but village grocery store, baker, butchers and a pharmacy just 5 minutes away), transport, other places to visit on the island and to generally look after our needs for 2 weeks when necessary. The villa was spacious and very comfortable to accommodate our family of 5 including a large first floor balcony with great views. The outdoor area has 2 separate eating areas including a huge bbq and pizza oven, good size pool with sun-beds and umbrellas, 2 bicycles and small play equipment for the younger ones. The villa has regular house keepers and a pool attendant daily. Manoilis was even happy to arrange more wood and charcoal for the bbq when we ran out! This villa and its central location to Crete are ideal for a family who wish to relax away from the hub of the town but also wish to explore other areas of the island by car. We found the roads generally quiet on our travels but watch out for the many potholes! A fantastic holiday all round!

Die schönste Unterkunft jn der ich je war

Alles in Allem fĂ€llt mir wirklich nichts ein, worĂŒber man sich beschweren kann. Die Wohnung war sogar noch besser ausgestattet, als auf den Bildern zu vermuten war und unser Host war jederzeit verfĂŒgbar wenn fragen bestanden. Die Villa lĂ€dt zu ejbem wirklich sehr entspannten Urlaub ein und wird von uns nicht das letzte Mal gebucht worden sein. :)

Sehr schöne kinderfreundliche Villa

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Es hat alles super funktioniert. Wir konnten die Villa trotz Corona unkompliziert ĂŒbernehmen. Jedes Zimmer ist mit Fliegennetzen und Klimaanlage versehen, was in heissen NĂ€chten ein unglaubicher Vorteil ist.

Traumferienhaus auf Kreta

Die Villa Vasia bietet allen Komfort fĂŒr einen perfekten Urlaub. Das Haus bietet drei etwa gleich große Schlafzimmer, zwei davon mit direktem Zugang zur Dachterasse. Alle Zimmer ausgestattet mit Doppelbetten, BettwĂ€sche, HandtĂŒcher und BademĂ€ntel. Das Bad mit mit einer Duschwanne, Toilette und Doppelwaschbecken, Fön und Dusch und Badeutensilien bestĂŒckt. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich das zweite Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche, Toilette und Waschbecken. Durch das große Wohnzimmer mit zahlreichen Sitzmöglichkeitenund die voll ausgestattete KĂŒche gelangt man in den nicht einsehbaren Garten mit Swimmingpool und Aussendusche. Gleich daneben ist die AußenkĂŒche mit Holzkohlengrill und gemauertem Ofen. Neben der perfekten Ausstattung fĂŒr Paare oder Familien ist die Betreuungdurch die "Agentur" besonders zu erwĂ€hnen. Valia und ihr Mann Manolis sorgen sich persönlich um das Wohl ihrer GĂ€ste. Ein gut gefĂŒllter KĂŒhlschrank fĂŒr das notwendigste nach der Anreise stehen genauso bereit wie der Raki als Willkommens Gruß. Jede kleine Bitte wird umgehend erfĂŒllt, jedes Problemchen aus dem Weg gerĂ€umt. Im Hintergrund sorgt ihr Papa fĂŒr einen blitzblanken Pool und wenn nötig Reparaturen. Geputzt wir zwei bis drei mal wöchentlich inkl. Wechsel der Strand und BadetĂŒcher. Manolis Empfehlung fĂŒr eine Gratis Massage (ca. 20 min) bei Maria sind wir gerne gefolgt und haben noch mehrere weitere Massagen bei Maria gebucht, eine besondere Wohltat. Ebenso empfehlen können wir die Autovermietung Best Cars mit der Valia zusammenarbeitet: Service und Preis/Leistung stimmen hier. Wir hatten wĂ€hrend des ganzen Aufenthalts ein Auto zur VerfĂŒgung. Die Lage des Hauses ist ca. 5km vom Strand (Platanes) entfernt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, abgeschlossen mit zwei weiteren Villen im Nichts, ein Auto ist hier ein muß. Die nĂ€chste Einkaufsmöglichkeit bietet Platanes mit Lidl und einem gut sortiertem lokalen Supermarkt. Bummeln kann man dort oder schöner in Rethymnon. FĂŒr ein Abendessen in der kleinen Taverne können wir Pagonas Place empfehlen, die grĂ¶ĂŸere Gesellschaft findet Platz im Zisis. Noch einmal herzlichen Dank an Valia und Manolis!

Perfekte Unterkunft

Wir haben einen sehr tollen Urlaub in Rethymnon verbracht. Es gab am Haus nichts zu beanstanden und es hat unsere Erwartungen ĂŒbertroffen. Besonders die ruhige Lage ist positiv hervorzuheben. Traumhafte Unterkunft

Wir hatten rundum einen sehr gelungen Aufenthalt in der Villa Vasia! Zum einen war die Villa wirklich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und zum anderen sind die EigentĂŒmer sehr bemĂŒht. Bei jeglicher Frage zum Haus oder auch Umgebung wurde umgehend geantwortet. Die Villa hat alles was das Herz begehrt, von der KĂŒcheneinrichtung bis hin zu Kinderspielsachen. Wir wĂŒrden definitiv wieder buchen!

Mrs. Vasia ist eine super liebenswĂŒrdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Zur BegrĂŒĂŸung gab es einen Raki und einen kleinen Willkommenssnack. Der KĂŒhlschrank war auch schon mit dem nötigsten gefĂŒllt. Die Villa ist außerordentlich gepflegt und sauber. Eine Woche war viel zu kurz. Wir fĂŒhlten uns sehr wohl und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Just perfect!

We had been recommended this villa by some friends. We are a family of 5, myself, my husband and three kids. Upon arriving at the villa we were greeted by the lovely owners. They were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much to ask. The first thing that struck me was how clean the villa was. The pool and garden area were perfectly looked after. Everything we needed was ready for us. You do need a car for this villa. Once you are in the car, you can be at the beach in 5 minutes, or in the town of Rethymno in 10-15 minutes. It’s a perfect location! I would highly recommend this villa to family’s who are looking for a comfortable, safe space for the kids. Or even just a group of friends looking for luxury!

Home away from home

Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in der modernen Ferienvilla in Rethymnon. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefĂŒhlt und uns hat es an nichts gemangelt. BegrĂŒsst wurden wir ganz landestypisch mit Raki und anderen griechischen SpezialitĂ€ten, sodass wir uns gleich sehr willkommen gefĂŒhlt haben. Der Pool hat eine super Grösse und im Garten gab es einige Spielmöglichkeiten fĂŒr unser Kleinkind. Auch der BBQ-Bereich, welcher sehr gemĂŒtlich ist, wurde hĂ€ufig von uns genutzt. Das einzige was gestört hat, war das nĂ€chtlich permanente Hundegebell und Katzengeschrei aus dem Dorf. Zum Strand sind es mit dem Auto 10 Minuten und ins Zentrum von Rethymon 20 Minuten. Weiterhin positiv zu erwĂ€hnen ist, dass der Pool jeden Morgen gereinigt wird und auch das Housekeeping alle vier Tage das Haus blitzblank putzt. Es waren tolle zwei Wochen, denen wir sehr hinterhertrauern...

FANTASTIC LUXURY VILLA

We are a family of five adults and we had an amazing time staying at this Villa. It's located in a hilly and quiet location, with fabulous views of the sea in the distance and surrounding hills. The beach is a ten minute drive away. The property has everything you could want away from home, pool, lovely modern very good quality internal furniture, washing machine (with powder provided), dishwasher (with tablets provided), two fabulous outdoor seating areas, air con in all rooms, DVD player, hairdryer, microwave etc. We had cleaners every four days who cleaned to a very high standard. The owners were extremely helpful - they even replaced the satalite dish when we had difficulty in receiving english channels on the TV. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us restaurant recommendations together with sat nav links so we could find them easily. The Greek hospitality was very generous in every restaurant we visited. The Villa is a very short drive from Rythmenol where there is huge range of restaurants, shops and bars. You definately need a car if you stay in this Villa. We would definately return to this wonderful place.

It is exactly as you see in the pictures, with lots of thoughtful touches you wouldn't expect.

If you are considering this villa, consider no more it's amazing. Just book it but book a car as well as its very remote. Perfect if you want a peaceful holiday but not if you want nightlife you can walk to. The owners have thought of everything with lots of lovely personal touches you wouldn't expect; fresh flowers, welcome basket, laundry products, extra toiletries, everything you have at home is here, the only thing missing was champagne glasses! The owners were there to welcome us and gave us a leaving gift too! I would recommend this place to anyone who is happy to drive during their holiday. Can't fault it at all.

Contemporary villa with pizza oven,large barbecue,coffee machines,plenty of outside seating.

Everything was new and in good working order.All mod cons have been thought of and also those little things that make a holiday special.Robes,slippers,comfortable seating,and four fabulous outside seating areas.A really beautiful property in a quiet location.

Amazing villa and wonderful hosts

Villa was gorgeous. Immaculately presented and really high quality. Host was really welcoming and helpful. Wonderful holiday. Our only issue was how close you felt to the sister villa. We had quite noisy neighbours and when they played music you felt like it was being played in your own villa. Not the most relaxing at times.

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa in a beautiful location. We were here for our 30th wedding anniversary with six adults and a child of 1.5 years. We came at night to 1:30 am and were warmly welcomed by the owner with an explanation about the villa and that she always was ready for us. When the light was not until we saw what a beautiful villa, clean and complete, a beautiful garden with lots of privesie, with swimming pool, fully equipped outdoor kitchen and lots of shade. On the photos it was already beautiful but in reality much nicer. Interim the villa was cleaned and yet also the legs were changed. Not far from Rethymno and beach. A dream place for a lovely carefree holiday. Definitely recommed this villa. Great respect for the nice and friendly owner.

Beautiful private Villa

The Villa is new ,clean, beautifully decorated in a modern style. The pool is not big yet lovely with a nice deck and great siting corners . One can see that Vasia ,the owner, paid a lot of attention to all details. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed .Vasia is a great host. Always available to any question ,very warm and welcoming. The house is absolutely gorgeous with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is in a small village close to Rythnemo which is a lovely city with excellent restaurants. Some beaches are close by. Great barbecue area. We cooked some tasty meals. We hope to come again and we shall recommend this place to all our friends. Thank you Vasia!

This villa was everything that we expected and more. Perfect villa, lovely location, lovely owners!

I would rate this villa 5 star. Fantastic location as one of two villas. We were met by the owners who were lovely people, could not be more helpful. The villa itself is perfect - decor is first class, very modern and spotless. The garden and pool area is outstanding, completely private with plenty of space and a lovely large lawn area. Outdoor dining space is great with outdoor BBQ and fire area too. Location is great, very quiet, but close to beaches and main town. The local supermarket is well stocked and reasonable too, with Chemist, Butcher and local tavernas all within 2-3 minutes drive. I would highly recommend this villa!! A beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location, but within easy reach of all amenities that you would want.

first class property

We were very happy with the standard of the villa and it's cleanliness. Everyone in your company went out of their way to make sure our stay in Crete was an enjoyable one. We do not normally go the the same place more than once, but this villa is so nice we would not have any worries about coming back, and will certainly recommend to friends. Fantastic Villa!

What a wonderful villa, it was exactly like the photographs plus the heat of the sun on the outside and lovely and cool in the inside! Spacious, well equipped with a fabulous bbq area, and plenty of sun loungers! Wonderful welcome from the manager, and always there at hand to help with anything we needed! Very relaxing, and a brilliant introduction to Greece, with our 2 teenage children!
