Thought I'd try again after a so-so experience last year. Room was fine but no mention of the major construction project and related mess prior to booking. The advertised "pub" was not open because "nobody showed up to work". I'd cross this one off since there are many better options for the same price.

Our stay here was great overall. Room was spotless, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer—they were super courteous. There was some remodeling going on but they made a serious effort to limit any inconvenience. Solid spot, we will come back.

I would’ve given 4.5 stars if you could do half stars, but alas. Our family of 6 really enjoyed this spot, we met up with other family members for a fun weekend. The only bummer was the lobby and Starbucks was closed since they’re doing construction - I wish the price reflected that but it didn’t. The restaurant inside the waterpark was really good, we enjoyed delicious pizza and wings! Breakfast was a little subpar, I would’ve loved some fresh fruit, eggs or sausage patties offered. The waterpark itself was a total hit with the kids despite them not using the slides (too scary for them). I really liked how the hot tub had an area that went outdoors - very awesome!! Staff was kind and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend for families!

Even though they’re currently remodeling, everything is still easily accessible, staff is very friendly and our room was super clean. This is the only place we’ll stay at when we visit Minocqua!!

The room was decently sized and comfortable. The hotel was clean. The staff were rude, unprofessional and not friendly or good with kids which was surprising considering it is a hotel with a water park, likely attracting a lot of kids. The arcade had many games that were not working but no out of order signs so wasted money spent on those games with no offers to refund. The room next to us was up all night partying and very loud but children were yelled at for being too loud before quiet hours. The nail salon as advertised is closed until further notice but that is not posted anywhere online or internally. They couldn’t give a date it would reopen and no apologies for the inconvenience. You need a separate key for the gym and business center. Life guards were inconsistent with rules and then punished children for misinterpreting due to these inconsistencies. We were there with a group for a basketball tournament and many others had the same complaints. One family even canceled their second night because even though their child was tall enough for the water slides, the lifeguards claimed she wasn’t. The restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced. The gift shop is a wall near front desk with very limited items.
