Nice place. Very close to theme park, which was the reason for my visit. Need better drink selections in the pantry. Water, diet coke, coke zero, diet pepsi, and pepsi zero will not cut it. Thankfully 7-11 is a quick 4 minute walk away.

The staff was great which is why I gave it 3 stars. But I do have some complaints. There was a used bar of soap left in our shower which means they did not clean the shower. There were also used ear plugs in the drawer.They were fully booked, so we knew we couldn’t get another room. The stopper did not work, I had to prop something under the stopper to allow the water to drain out of the shower. The pool had wayyyy too much chlorine, my daughter’s eyes were burning when she got out and it left almost a bruise type of mark by her eye. Furthermore, my daughter’s hair felt like straw when she got out of the pool. Also the entire family allergies were going crazy in this hotel room (maybe due to old carpet). I don’t know, but we all took Benadryl. Breakfast was okay and the hotel was across the street from Kings Dominion which we loved.

This place is alright if you need somewhere to sleep. It’s about all it is good for. The pool was disgusting and there’s barely anything to eat in the area.

It was ok but could be better

The front desk staff in the beginning was a little standoffish but warmed up. The elevator is my biggest concern because it would try to move before the door closed. It slipped the second floor and went straight to the third. It just didn't feel safe. There were some aesthetics like unfinished paint jobs but also every light was unplugged. During the multi day stay no one checked to see if we needed more towels or wash cloths and no one collected the used cloths. The breakfast options was minimal wish bacon was included the sausage looked under cooked. Lastly the room had a mostly used toilet paper roll with it back up in the room.

The property was conveniently located across the street Kings Dominion Amusement Park. Location was near our daughter's college at Randolph Macon. The property was a little outdated and the edge of the property and train tracks had a lot of trash like people had been living behind the hotel. Needs to be cleaned by staff weekly at the least. But otherwise, we would stay there again definitely!

The hotel was conveniently located to the highway. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the food was fresh. The employee at breakfast was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. There was a hole in the wall where the door knob hits the wall. The tub was chipped in a few places. We liked that there were two rooms. I would stay there again.
