The room was inviting with the old fireplace (not operable) and the quotes from Edgar Allen Poe. The bathroom was spacious and the water was hot! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The gentleman at reception was very personable, Our stay was a very pleasant experience.

We stayed one night for NYE. Clean Room. Staff was not very helpful when the parking deck was closed but we were able to find street parking nearby. The room lighting was too low for reading. Convenient location.

We did no expect to have to lug baggage up and down stairs. My partner is handicapped so had we known we could have adjusted. We expected but didn’t receive housekeeping on Sunday. We did ask staff for towels and they were responsive. So our experience was a mixed bag: big, comfortable but tired room; good interaction with staff; and we liked the location.
