We got a room on the first floor, but when we stepped into the room we were overwhelmed with a very powerful cigarette smoke odor. We went back to the desk and the girl was very nice about giving us a new room, on the second floor. That room was better but the air was on 60* and there was a puddle of water by the unit. I mopped that up and it didn’t come back. We turned up the temp and used some extra blankets we had in the car. No extra blankets in the room, just a thin bedspread. It was a heat wave that day so maybe that’s why it was set to 60*? My compliment is that the motel was clean and the staff was very nice. The price was low so I don’t feel like I should complain. It was quiet and served well for a nights sleep after we regulated the temperature.

Just went for the pool and hot tub. Checked out 2 days early. The water was nasty and cold, people spitting tobacco juice/pouches in it. Whole experience here was just disgusting.

The motel is clean with friendly staff. It is a no frills budget friendly location. We were looking for a place to comfortably overnight and this fit the bill. We would stay here again.

I choose this hotel because it had decent reviews. That was a mistake. I was suppose to stay there 2 days and checked out after the first day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The TV did note work well. Fuzzy and static including sound. It was dirty and gross. There is also no elevator. As someone with a disability- I wish I would have known so I didn't have to get a 50lb bag up a flight of stairs. The front desk ladies were amazing!!!

This Motel 6 is excellent for the price and very convenient off I-70. Overall the property is in good condition, especially when compared to some recent stays at another value motel chain. This is the second time I have stayed here while passing thru Richmond and would stay here again.

Pool way too chlorinated, you couldn’t even see the bottom. No microwave, coffee maker, or hair dryer in the room. Room definitely needs a DEEP clean.
